4.0 out of 5 stars Cordless ironing
I find this iron very easy to use. It does not leak and maintains the temperature while ironing. Heats up fast when on the base. If you want a cordless iron for under $100, this is a good buy.

1.0 out of 5 stars not long lasting
I bought this iron and am not very happy with it. It worked fine for a few months, and then nothing. I thought it might be the plug, but I tried everywich way to plug it in various outlets. No power. It was only 7 months old.
I also bought a euro pro sewing machine and it only lasted for 10 months. I will never buy euro pro products again, thank you.

1.0 out of 5 stars Didn't last 3 months, July 19, 2003

I bought this iron 3 months ago. I was fairly content even though the iron didn't stay hot long enough when in the cordless mode and the auto shutoff worked intermittently. 3 weeks ago the iron started to leak a little bit of water from the back. I assumed that I was using the steam burst when the iron wasn't hot enough. Now the iron leaks to the point that I can't use the iron with water in it which means that I can't use the spray or the bust of steam.

The concept of a cordless iron is great it just didn't work well with this product.

3.0 out of 5 stars So far so good..., June 25, 2003

... I have only owned the iron for 2 months, so I haven't had the problem the other reviewers had... yet. So far, the iron works well. Nice and solid, not too heavy, but substantial enought to give a nice crease to anything. It's a little clunky when you're trying to put it back into its warming base, if you are using it as a cordless iron. If you don't care about the cordless aspect of this iron, however (which was the reason I bought it), look elsewhere. It's a little less streamlined than other irons, when you use it as a corded iron. However, if all you do is a little light ironing and you want the ease of a cordless iron, then you'll be pretty happy with this one.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy..., August 23, 2004

The first week was great, all down hill from there. The iron leaks uncontrollable, it's not sturdy, w/o steam it's impossible to get of wrinkles out of anything except polyester clothing. Cotton items, forget it. I recommend to NOT buy this item. Target should remove this from its inventory.

1.0 out of 5 stars Euro-Pro 1400W, May 29, 2003

In a year and a half of moderate to little use, the cord shorted out where it attaches at the long sleeve to the body to the iron. For an expensive iron, this is not acceptable. I would like to reach the company and request a replacement iron.

I hate this iron. I really do. I saw this iron in the store, and it was love. It looked so sleak and nice. The first few months that the iron and I spent together were wonderful. Then, it started to leak a little. I could live with that. So today, I'm ironing, and the water just poured out the bottom. That's not what irons should do.
