Unreliable. Broke down after 2 months or 5 uses,

Got this one as a replacement for my 5 year old steamer. Steam stopped coming out on my sixth use although I could hear the water boiling fiercely inside the unit. Steam initially started to leak out without the release button depressed but after several more minutes nothing came out with or without pressing the steam release button.

SHARK SUCKS,

SHARK SUCKS pure and simple. My steamer stopped working after a few weeks and their Euro iron never stayed on. When I first saw the ad for a floor steamer I shuddered...I'm willing to bet there are many disappointments with that product as well. Funny how they have no email to complain to..... I will never go near another Shark product again!!!

piece of junk,

I bought this unit today to replace an older Scunni steamer I bought 4 years ago. Well, I was able fill it up twice without any problems at all. However, the third time I filled it up things went down hill. The unit wouldn't heat up the water. I suspect that the heating element went bad. I tried calling the manufacture and I got some phone center in India. I waited over 15 minutes for the water to heat up, nothing happened. So, I packed the unit back up and took it back to KMART. I wouldn't buy this piece of junk again. Avoid this thing!!!!!

I first tried the Euro-Pro SC710L Super Steamer on my Harley-Davidsons chromed, spoke wheels. They had been neglected for a long while and were beginning to rust. The "steamer" (after working at it for about 1/2 hour), came out 90 per cent better than they were. Some permanent damage (due to neglect) is still there. The small amount of water that is used in the steamer lasts a long, long time. I was surprised. (And well pleased).

Piece of Crap!,

I bought this product about 2 years ago, and used it only occasionally. The last 2 times I used it, the steam starts coming out as soon as the unit/water starts to heat up. The steam is only supposed to come out when you press the trigger on the handle. I emailed customer service, and they never got back to me.
Based on this experience, I do not recommend this product or any others from this company. It is a piece of crap made in China.

I already owned the big floor Shark which is great but this little Shark is even better! I use it on my granite counter tops, bathrooms, above the microwave, stovetop, oven and especially great on grout!! It ls lightweight and very easy to use!! LOVE it!

Within months the minerals in your water
will clog it up and it becomes a door stop. I would not buy it. 10.2011 |
