I bought this "steam mop" because there were so many great reviews of the Bissell steam mop, which is no longer available. It looks like Amazon is no longer carrying this one but I was able to purchase it about a week ago from a different website.

Today is the first day I used it. I don't think I'll be throwing away my mop and bucket but I did really like it. Unlike some similar products, you use your own white towels to cover the bottom where it steams the floor. This is nice because I won't need to worry about finding specific replacements. The head also swivels and the whole stick seems fairly comfortable to use. It is not self-propelled so you will need to push and pull. This could be harder or easier, depending on the towels you choose to use. I simply bought a couple white hand towels at Sam's Club and clipped one on after folding it in half. It was still a little big, so I may cut it down to size.

I have lineoleum and it worked fine on it. It does not take off shoe scuff marks and it has some difficulty getting stuck on stuff off. My son had dropped a few smatterings of yogurt on the floor the night before and they were dried on. It took off about half of it and then I needed to scrub a little with my finger nail to get the rest up so it could finish the job.

The floor does look nice and shiny. The towel did get dirty. I think it might do a better job on tile where you are not concerned about too much heat affecting the surface texture.

The definite plus side is that does clean the floor without chemicals which is what I was looking for. If you love a pine scent, you're going to have to burn a candle instead.
