Don't throw away your Shark, if like many, your battery gives out. This replacement pack, properly charged when you receive it, should make your Shark sweeper run like new. It surely did, for mine, which had heavy and daily use for over a year, until I noticed the original battery pack would not hold a charge, likely due to "memory."

This unit is SO EASY to install, and takes only seconds. I would suspect that in many cases, users who are unhappy with the Shark sweepers, and "apparent" battery problems, need a replacement like this, in addition to making sure that the battery is DISCHARGED before putting the sweeper back on the charging unit. This, alone will extend battery life, considerably.

This item arrived promptly, was very reasonable in cost, and has taken a full
charge and operated just as the original battery that came with the vacuum
about five years ago. Therefore, the original battery had about a five year
life and I'm hopeful this one will also. We are very satisfied with this product
and the Amazon.com process for it's purchase.

I was going to replace my shark vacum untill I found a replacement battey. Save me some cash. Thanks

Thanks for the Euro-Pro Shark sweeper batterly pack. It is the exactly replacement for the old one and that's what was important to me.

This is the wrong battier for my shark and i cant seem to find the right one. So i will make this one work, I hope.

i was frustrated and about to throw out my Shark sweeper when I realized it MIGHT just be the battery. the battery that came with the thing had never held much of a charge and had now given up the ghost entirely. since I liked the sweeper when it used to work, it seemed like it might be worth the investment in a battery. Voila! It now works better than it ever did. the battery arrived quickly and exactly as advertised and fit my sweeper perfectly.

New battery pack makes my Euro-Pro Shark perform like new. No more dragging the full sized vacuum cleaner out for spot cleaning.

This battery is not for XBP610N model, buy it from somewhere else or through Shark. It will work if you modified the battery metal connector by cutting it but motifying the battery will damage your sweeper if you try to recharged the unit and you will create a spark, so don't tell me I did not warn you about it.

Battery does not fit properly at all. (NO MODIFICATION PLEASE), $20.00 down the drain and follow instruction before you begin working on any Shark Item, it is very picky and will work only on that model for parts and battery. Old model Sweeper will no longer have the replacement parts available after five years or so. You would have to send the whole unit to the company and wait for it to get back which is at least a month if you want to recharge or get a part replacement done that will cost you time and money. The battery is just a hassle to deal with, so be patient and plan accordingly. The company will give you a life time warranty on older and outdated models, so read the intsruction manual. I think the company want to sell you a newer model (keep that in mind) but you do not have to buy a newer model and downgrade to your old sweeper.

I am not sure if they sent me the wrong size or if I made the mistake of ordering the wrong size none the less, it took longer for it to get here than I needed it. Paid for fast delivery and still took more than 5 days.
