There is two products marketed by Topics Entertainment under the same title ie. Immersion Spanish. One is by Auralog and the other is Eurotalk. Eurotalk has a purple sign in the middle of the front cover above the title. It contains additional disks (Talk More, Talk World, a dictionary and a game). Talk Now is the most basic if not simplistic disk for absolute beginners in the Immersion Spanish by Eurotalk. Immersion Spanish set can be purchased for less than this single disk. The only difference is slight improvent in the graphics and they really speak Mexican on this one. The immersion Spanish sounds very Castilian. As for content it is very basic. Vocabulary on this disk most likely doesn't go over 300 words, mostly nouns, basic colors, numerals 1-20 and very basic phrases like "Donde esta el bano?". I got it for my wife who is trying to learn some Spanish above "Bueno" as we live right on the "frontera". I expected something different but it is slightly upgraded version of the same old program. By the way my kids like it and learned most of it already.

I bought this because it is supposed to work in iTunes. However, it boots and says to install the latest version of iTunes. I already have the latest version but reinstalled just in case. No luck. I've tried on both Mac & PC. I've tried customer support options from EuroTalks's website without success. Emails to the company have been unanswered.

My advice - skip this program and company. I wish I had!

This was a waste of money for me....(I also bought Learn to Speak Spanish Deluxe for 14.99 and really like it, it installs on your computer).....I need to speak with Spanish Speakers from Mexico so I bought this...it's one DVD that must be in the Computer for the program to work... I get a LOT of errors and program closes.... example..when using the Count to 20 in Spanish the program counted 1 thru 4...would not say 5....then went on to count 6 thru 20... The mp3 files would not install on computer...started to install and then I got an error and had to abort...
I think children would enjoy this program if it worked.

( FYI...it's not my computer that's the problem..... I don't have problems with other software..)

Update...I tried the program again this morning and didn't have the problems I had yesterday with the DVD and program closing on my computer...maybe when I tried to download for mp3 and got error ..abort...it somehow made errors occur with program on computer...I'm not tring that again.... I changed my rating from one star to three because I think young children would like the program and learn from it....
