5.0 out of 5 stars Simple
This program is great. Required almost no set up time and uses basic (but engaging) games to teach simple vocabulary. Great product!

2.0 out of 5 stars Mistakes and Too Little Useful Content
My wife was born and educated in Slovakia which, with this language course, is a good thing. My wife was born and educated in Slovakia which, with this language course, is a good thing. It has a number of mistakes-- places where what the actors in the video are saying is not what the topic vocabulary item is. My wife checks the content out before I study it, pointing out the things I should ignore.

The phrase content is not very useful in the real world. I really cannot imagine why, in Slovakia, I would need to say "May I please have a Mango?" Since Slovakia is not exactly the focal point of contemporary Asian cuisine why waste time with things like "May I have chopsticks?"

The course also uses too much archaic language; words and phrases that have not been routinely used in casual conversation for decades.

Why can't SOMEBODY produce a language course that is actually useful? How to read a restaurant menu in Slovak, how to read the Bratislava public transit maps and schedules, how to ask for an itemized bill, how to use the Slovak equivalent of 911, how to work the self-service pricing scales used in Slovalk supermarkets, how to order eggs over easy, etc.

The course is marginally useful, at least it's not expensive.
