Does what it claims.,

I have tile in my kitchen, dining room, living room, hallway, bathrooms, and entryway.
Pros: - Takes 15 minutes to read the instructions and put together. - Easy to fill - it comes with a cup with a convenient spout, though, I used my own small funnel to make pouring even easier. - Heats up really fast 5 minutes or less with room temp water. - Instructions say the inside of the boiler doesn't need to be cleaned if you use distilled water. - No chemicals are needed. - Cord is long enough to clean a large area from one plug. - My floor didn't make my socks dirty after I was done mopping, so it was really clean! - Really fluffed up my shag rugs. - Less messy than normal mopping because floors dry faster and there is no splashing or dirty water. Cons: - The handle is plastic - the trigger for the front steam works well, but the handle seems kind of flimsy, I expect it to break before the rest of the appliance does. - It doesn't fit under counter edges very well because the boiler is on top of the mop head. The position of the boiler helps make the steam as hot as possible, and it is very hot. The front steam jets can be used to steam under the counters and then wipe up or vacuum later. - Might not be able to deeply clean carpets - My rugs do not look clean really, just fluffy, after using a full tank of steam on them. Maybe it will take a few cleanings for them to improve. (To clean carpets you have to first steam them and then vacuum.) Things to keep in mind: - This is just a mop, you have to vacuum first to maximize cleaning. - No "clean floor" smell because you're not supposed to use chemicals with it. It's worth it though!

I just received this steam mop and the construction of the base seems very solid. The handle on the other hand is very flimsy and I tried to be very careful with it.
I followed the instructions on installing the handle but somehow the end got damaged and the front steam jets weren't able to be triggered as a result. I called customer service and they informed me they will be sending a new handle. I first tested it out on the carpeted areas. First I vacuumed the carpet and then I went over it with the EZ1 with carpet glide and microfiber cloth combo. One tank full was more than enough to go over about 400 sq ft of carpet (minus furniture so maybe 200sq ft?) thoroughly with. What amazed me was that even after just having vacuumed the microfiber cloth was full of cat hair. This took me by surprise. After vacuuming again when done with the steamer I hopefully picked up even more pet hair. The steam also helped fluff up the carpet under chairs and other objects. Used it on ceramic and vinyl tile and it did a good job there as well. Doesn't get into the grout though. The handle though is just plain horrible. If you've ever seen one of those really cheap camera tripods that come in a kit and feel like you'll break it if you look at it wrong think of that type of quality. If they just made the handle a little stronger this would be a 5 star product. I bought it because of the claims that it has the highest temperature among all these low cost steam mops. I'm just hoping the new handle allows me to use the front steam jets. Will update if it does not or if I have any other problems with customer service.

love it,

We tried it on the floors & it works great, we have not tried it on carpet yet. To clean about 5 rooms, it needs to be filled around 3 times. So if the green light seems to turn off a lot, we found out it was because it needed more water. One thing though is it does not reach some difficult corners because of the desgin on the front. The pads are easy to clean too.

I purchased this Steam mop after doing some research. I thought I had made the right choice. When it arrived I read the pamphlet first and then tried it out. It seemed to work fine so I was happy at the time. The red (power indicator light ) came on and then the green light came on for about 5 minutes but then went out. The booklet is unclear as to whether red light is steady while in use or should go out when green light comes on. My green light went out after about 2 minutes. I thought maybe it had not fully charged yet, but since it worked okay for about 10 minutes I though it was alright.
I went to use it today for an actual floor cleaning and when plugged in, the red light came on, but the green never did. When the handle was put into the "on" position, nothing happened. The machine never heated up at all. It worked for all of 10 minutes ...and then...NOTHING... I am so disappointed that this does not work. I am only hoping that returning it to the vendor I bought it on Amazon from will accept it and refund my money. Although now, I am having to pay shipping charges to return a defective product. Buyer Beware...

Clean blast plus it's hot and steamy,

it's a great overall product ...
Key things you must do before steaming your floor 1. Vacuum your floor 2. Mop stains (i.e. snow boot dirt ect) After those simple tedious steps ... I steamed the whole place and was pretty happy with the results. this model comes equipped with Clean blast (four steam nozzles in front that allow you to blast sum steam in corners, hard to reach areas, ect ... Controlled by a trigger located by the handle). no other floor steamer has this feature to my knowledge ... I owned a Haan which my sister loved and never returned ... so I purchased the euro in place of it to compare 3 plus's over the Haan ... 1. Clean Blast 2. Steam is hotter 3. Steam is adjustable 1 plus over Euro 1. The Haan cord is way more flexible and user friendly (easy to wrap back up for storage) ... The euro cord is the worst cord ever (does not wind up well, hard, and not very flexible) all in all a great value at this price even with the extra shipping costs ... I paid over 80 dollars for my Haan ... Question is ... will it last? ... if it does ... it's twice the cleaner. ps. the cord really is annoying ...

Pads don't stay attached and the handle snapped off. I had nothing but problems with the one I bought,

I have a ceramic tile floors in my kitchen, bathrooms and hallway so I was looking for something to clean my floors. When I started reading that steamers also sanitize, I was sold.
The unit I received has never really worked how I hoped it should. It hangs up on all the grout seams, sometimes peeling the steaming pad off the machine. I found I could still use the machine by pulling it toward me on the floor and lifting it off the floor to go forward because it hangs up worse when I attempt to move it forward. It became such a pain in the hinny that I pretty much stopped using it after my fourth attempt. That was months ago. Today I thought I'd break it out and steam/sanitize the kitchen and bathroom floors. I had the same problems with the pad(s) hanging up all the time. I actually wonder if the pads are a poor fit? but either way, after I steamed a six feet area of my kitchen floor, the handle snapped off the machine. I don't know if there is a fix for this. I will have to contact someone here at Amazon to see what happens next, i.e. replacement or trash can. In hindsight, I should have returned the unit when I first received it, but I had hopes... This might work if you have a one piece linoleum floor, but I don't recommend it for grouted tile floors. Sad to say, but because of the way the handle snapped today, I would not recommend it to anyone, regardless of floor type.

I've used this cleaner for the past 3 weeks. My old method was ammonia in a bucket with a sponge mop or Pinesol in a bucket followed by a rinse for the bathroom tile floors. As others have mentioned, you have to sweep before using it so it just replaces the bucket and mop part. It does save time though, because it is similar to vacuuming and the floor dries almost immediately.
For linoleum and wood I do not notice any difference in the end product. The floors look just as clean as the old method. For my bathroom tile floors it does no do as good a job as Pinesol and rinse. After the Euroflex I can stll see traces of dust on my black linoleum floor and it does not shine like it did after the mop method. I use the Euroflex on the lowest heat setting on my finished hardwood floors and it has not hurt them and they look good afterward. I have also used the rug attachment twice on a wool area rug. It removes the depressions that furniture legs make, fluffs up the rug pile and brings the pet hair up to the surface so that it can be vacuumed up later. The rug does not look much cleaner though. There isn't any maintenance for the Euroflex if you use distilled water, which I buy at the local MarketBasket supermarket for $1 a gallon. The water well is easy to fill and lasts me for 2 floors. It takes 5-10 minutes to heat up and get the green light. Overall I am happy with the purchase because it saves time. On the bathroom tile floors, however, I will probably alternate the Euroflex with a Pinesol cleaning.

I bought this mop and was very excited about it! I read so many amazing things about it.... After ordering it, it got here really fast! It gave me a window of when I would receive it, and I got it on the first day of that window. That was great! But my husband and i put it together, me being stoked and couldn't wait! It was very easy to put together and quick too! We poured the water in and it heated up very fast! Then it came time to really test it out! That's when I got a little sad.... I thought the steam would be pouring out of the bottom like the pictures....but it didn't. Then I went to use the front jets in my kitchen under my counters and the tigger was very very loose, like it was broken. The jets out of the front didn't work... Well, in the manual it had the trouble shooting, and the trigger and front jets issue was the first one! So we figured it was common when it said it was probably a handle issue from assemble. So we called the number and tried fixing it and nothing happened.
Well, I had told my family all about the mop before I bought it,and when I bought mine the orange and black one (EZ2) wasn't there. But when my sister went to buy hers, they had it available. It's the same mop except it has a place to put a fluid that is provided that helps kill more bacteria and the flu virus I believe. It has a spot in the front to put it, so you can't use it unless you have that spot in the front. I was gonna just get the fluid and put it in mine, but I guess it co uld ruin it. Anyway, she brought hers over and it was a night and day difference! The steam just poured out just like the pics and everything! The trigger was tight and the front jets shot out and you could see them working! Which showed me that this is a great mop! So, my guess is that I got a bad one. The reason I ordered the EZ2 is because, I have a 2yr old and I wanted the extra bacteria fighting protection that lasted! If they didn't have that, I would just get it replaced! I love this mop and how it sanitizes on contact! The Bissell and the Shark only sanitize if you leave them in each spot for 15 seconds! And then it says if you leave them longer then 20 seconds you could damage your floor!! So not only is that a risk I don't want to take, but that's also gonna make my job waaaaay longer then I want it to be! This mop has the hottest steam of all the mops out there as a top of 266 degrees! But not only that, but it also cools to 100 degrees 10in away from the jets! With my 2yr old being everywhere, I don't want a risk of her getting burned and I love how fast it cools less then a foot from it! In my opinion, the Monster mop is #1 and 5 stars in my book! I just got a bad one at first....but it's def worth returning it for a new one! With the mass production of everything these days, everyone is gonna have a bad apple in the mix! But even things worth its weight is worth taking a second look and giving it a chance to make up for it's mistaker or faults! Not every mop in mass production can be perfect! But I promise, if I thought this mop wasn't worth it, I wouldn't have taken my time to explain and write my experience!

Has never worked properly,

Bought one of these brand new. Took it out of the box and assembled according to the directions. Filled the tank with water, waited for the green light to come, then tried to mop. First of all, the trigger on the handle doesn't do anything. I pull the trigger and nothing happens, no steam comes out of the nozzles on the front of the unit. After one wash, the pads no longer stick to the bottom of the mop. It glides easily and does well on my wood floors, but the kitchen and bathroom floors seem to grab the pad and pull it right off the mop. At this point, I don't know what product to use, as Shark mops seem to be only good for about 6 months before they break (I've gone through three Shark mops already).
