I have tile in my kitchen, dining room, living room, hallway, bathrooms, and entryway.

Pros:
- Takes 15 minutes to read the instructions and put together.
- Easy to fill - it comes with a cup with a convenient spout, though, I used my own small funnel to make pouring even easier.
- Heats up really fast 5 minutes or less with room temp water.
- Instructions say the inside of the boiler doesn't need to be cleaned if you use distilled water.
- No chemicals are needed.
- Cord is long enough to clean a large area from one plug.
- My floor didn't make my socks dirty after I was done mopping, so it was really clean!
- Really fluffed up my shag rugs.
- Less messy than normal mopping because floors dry faster and there is no splashing or dirty water.

Cons:
- The handle is plastic - the trigger for the front steam works well, but the handle seems kind of flimsy, I expect it to break before the rest of the appliance does.
- It doesn't fit under counter edges very well because the boiler is on top of the mop head. The position of the boiler helps make the steam as hot as possible, and it is very hot. The front steam jets can be used to steam under the counters and then wipe up or vacuum later.
- Might not be able to deeply clean carpets - My rugs do not look clean really, just fluffy, after using a full tank of steam on them. Maybe it will take a few cleanings for them to improve. To clean carpets you have to first steam them and then vacuum.)

Things to keep in mind:
- This is just a mop, you have to vacuum first to maximize cleaning.
- No "clean floor" smell because you're not supposed to use chemicals with it. It's worth it though!

Hand-held steamer. (definitely not as exciting as the mop)
Pros:
- Strong, very hot jet of steam
- lots of attachments to clean in multiple ways
- not too heavy when full of water
- seems really sturdy
- Updated material here - Great for cleaning stuffed toys that cannot go in the washing machine! I do not use an attachment for this. Watch those fingers!

Cons:
- short chord - may need to use an extension chord if there is no plug near the surface to be steamed

Things to think about:
- the longer the attachment the cooler the steam
- whatever is steamed will need to be wiped or rinsed afterward

Personal opinion ...
There's really nothing that compares to Comet or a magic eraser when you need to scrub your tub ...

I received the Euroflex Monster EZ1 steam Mop and handheld household steam cleaner for a Christmas gift this year (I have had this on my gift list for over a year) and I love them both. Ease of use rates high with both of these products and the level of clean has reached a whole new height in my home. Both my kids love to take turns using these products. My twelve year old has been going from room to room cleaning baseboards and getting everything out of every nook and cranny (awesome bonus, even though he is avoiding his homework)! We have an "allergy house" so I will be using the Steam mop this week to kill the dust mites in our mattresses. I purposely chose this particular steam mop over other brands because of the temperature the water is heated to. Would highly recommend this purchase!

The Euroflex Monster EZ1 works well. I like the front steam function that pre-loosens any stuborn dirt. However, the instruction need to clarify that the handle must be in the fully extended position before this function engages. A short person might not realize this and think the machine is malfunctioning. It works equally as well as the Haan which was purchased by a neighbor.

The Handheld steamer on the other hand spits and sputters and does a very poor job of removing even simple spills from a microwave and fails miserably on oven cleaning or cabinet fronts. It emits more water than steam and It could be potentially dangerous for seniors or a fragile person to operate as it is not well balanced in hand or when placed on the counter between applications. A serious burn could occur. I would not recommend this handheld product.

I purchased this to replace the swiffer which my wife swears on. Honestly, w.r.t. time and easiness of cleaning floors the swiffer wins. But w.r.t. long-term cost and reduction of waste the steam vacuum should definitely make it - if it does not break before.
This one so far works well. Fill in (distilled) water, power it up, wait 3-5 min and get started.
Several things that are bugging me: it's impossible to tell how much water is left in the tank. I could empty and refill it w/ the provided measuring cup each time, but since the unit is a bit bulky it's not that easy to do w/o spilling the water. Keep doing it and you'll run out of distilled water soon - which is what I'm trying to avoid.
Murphy's Law totally applies here - when I want to clean the floors the water tank is either empty or almost empty. One then has to wait until the unit cooled down enough to allow opening the tank and inserting water w/o it boiling right out again.
Once you get this thing going it really produces hot steam. It certainly sanitizes the floors, but the swiffer does a better job cleaning stains etc. off of the floor. This is due to the swiffer pads containing chemicals which is what I'm trying to avoid w/ the steam cleaner. Thanks to the extremely hot steam most stains will still come off - it just takes a couple of runs over them to take care of it.
The overall quality of the steam vacuum is good - the handle could be sturdier though. If something breaks this will break first.

The package also contains an adapter for carpet cleaning. I haven't found this useful since it does not make the carpet any cleaner. It just might kill some germs on it, but it certainly does not replace a carpet cleaner.

The little portable steam cleaner that also comes with it produces hot steam again, but some of the attachments are a bit flimsy and hard to use to really get i.e. the bathroom cleaned. And some of the bathroom-typical stains don't come off, so you'll likely still have to use chemicals w/ a cloth to get everything really clean. You'll also have to wipe off all the excess water from steam cleaning, especially the run-down from vertical surfaces, such as mirrors. Probably better to keep cleaning those with Windex.

I also purchased this steam mop from QVC and really liked it but the top of the handle is plastic and broke off after only a couple of months. I am so disappointed because I cannot find any replacement parts. Also "after" this happened I started seeing lots of reviews with customers having this same issue. Love the steam clean concept but needs to be made better. I would not recommend this product.

I recently purchased my Euroflex after going thru two shark steam cleaners in the past year.
I am very happy with this product and find it's easy to use, is certainly well made and has done a great on my wood and laminate floors.
I cleaned my floors in half the time I did previously.

I searched the internet, read the Amazon reviews and decided on the Euroflex Monster EZ1 Steam Mop with the handheld steam cleaner. The first time I used it, I was instantly amazed at how clean my floors looked. Not only that, but, it cleaned and eliminated whatever the carpet holds that causes allergies. My children were immediately allergy free and the house had a smell of "clean" that it never had before. I used the handheld steamer for my furniture, drapes, in the bathroom and along the sides of the carpeted rooms. After a few times of steam cleaning my carpets, they came back to life and now look almost new. I am very glad that I bought these steamers and would highly recommend these products.

I was very impressed with this steamer. It works very well on my tile floors. The carpet glide is easy to use, but it only 'freshens' the carpet. It doesn't clean heavily soiled areas. It is fine to brighten a not-too-dirty carpet, looks good if you re-vacuum after it dries. The handheld is so much fun to use. I steamed everything, mirrors, shower, stovetop, door knobs, etc. It also works better than the floor unit for cleaning 'spots' on the carpet. I can't wait to try it on my gas grill.

I have 2 small kids, a husband who works with oil and coal equipment, a dog, and a cat. Needless to say I needed something to keep my house feeling somewhat sanitary. I chose this steam mop for the temp. I really didn't need a handheld, but since they came together I thought I'd give it a shot. I only got about 10 maybe 15 mins of steam out of the handheld. Its annoying that you have to hold the trigger, but it works pretty well. The window washer attachment for the handheld is absolutely useless. The handheld is best used for small jobs that can be done quickly because refilling it is annoying. I have yet to refill my steam mop and I have 4 rooms with laminate flooring and tile that I have cleaned twice so far. It doesn't leave noticeable streaks but I have neutral colored flooring. The water reservoir is on the bottom of the mop so you don't have to push down to scrub the floor. There is a trigger that releases extra steam, but in my opinion, it is placed too high to do any good. I love this mop and it is a great price. I would highly recommend it.

I just bought this and have cleaned our 1400 square foot home several times already with great ease and wonderful results! We have hardwood and ceramic tile downstairs, and vinyl flooring and wall to wall upstairs. So far the Euroflex Monster has performed wonderfully well!! We have two 5 month old puppies we got last month. They were not house trained and we are steadily achieving our goal of getting them house trained. There are still some accidents from time to time. This steam cleaner takes all puppy pee odor completely away! We are THRILLED!!
