5.0 out of 5 stars Great Basic Review for the AP, August 26, 2009
By
This review is from: 5 Steps to a 5 AP European History, 2008-2009 Edition (5 Steps to a 5 on the Advanced Placement Examinations Series) (Paperback)
I have found that 5 steps to a 5 books are not complete with detail. They do, however give you the basic cores of all events in history. It does not describe every war tactic and that is a good thing. If you want read a more detailed book but if you know everything in 5 steps to a 5 you should be able to get that 5!

I bought this book for my son. He is an IB student and it was recommended to him by his IB History teacher. Upon received it my son notice that the summary of the material was excelent. The book is easy to understand. clear and concise.

Furthermore, he likes the recommendations on how to writte the assay during the exam. My son will be taking his AP test next month, so I cannot give you his result, but he feels much more confident and better prepared. And for that, I will say that this book is worth every penny.
