5.0 out of 5 stars Don't leave home without it
In the 80's and 90's this was my bible on many trips through Europe. It takes a little time to be proficient in reading the timetables, but it's well worth it. With the timetable in hand, an adventurous traveler can literally go anywhere on the continent. With a Eurail pass, you can hop on any train in the station and figure out where to get off later--sublime. It's...

1.0 out of 5 stars exhaustive but outdated data
This excellent and all but complete timetable sadly contains outdated information, thus having mainly a curiosity value. May I return it for a refund?

With the timetable in hand, an adventurous traveler can literally go anywhere on the continent. With a Eurail pass, you can hop on any train in the station and figure out where to get off later--sublime. It's still best reference, even in the Internet age.

The books are published several times a year, but most schedules change fairly slowly. Note that the summer version contains extra trains that may not be available year-round.

Don't take a train without it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thorough Rail Book, April 25, 2009
This review is from: European Rail Timetable Winter/Spring 2009 (European Rail Timetable: The Only Up-To-The-Minute Guide to) (Paperback)
Used it to plan my 2 week trip to Central/Eastern Europe.

Includes days the trains run, seasonal routes, international routes (Although I couldn't find Krakow to Fuzebony proper). Used it in conjunction with Rick Steve's Eastern Europe.

This review is from: European Rail Timetable Winter/Spring 2009 (European Rail Timetable: The Only Up-To-The-Minute Guide to) (Paperback)
The title says it all. A must if you travel by train in Europe and if you like timetables, both of which I do!
