This short introductory text de-mystifies the European Union's structures and operation. Editorial Reviews

Review

`This is an impressive book. Its strength is to explain "how EU works", especially in terms of ACTORS and POLICY-MAKING. In spite of this specific focus, this implies a comprehensive coverage. It is written in a lucid and concise way, and great for teaching purposes.' Fredrik Soderbaum, Post-doctoral research fellow, Department of Peace and Development Research, Goteborg University

1.0 out of 5 stars Out of date and poorly written., October 16, 2007
This review is from: The European Union: How Does It Work? (New European Union Series) (Paperback)
Things are constantly changing in the European Union, which makes it incredibly difficult to publish and up-to-date book about it. This book is already outdated, and to top it off, it's written very poorly. The wording is vague and never to the point. It was required for a class I took, and I learned more by looking up "European Union" on Wikipedia than I ever did from this book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very outdated information, December 12, 2007
This review is from: The European Union: How Does It Work? (New European Union Series) (Paperback)
This book was required for my Euro Politics class. The book its self was poorly written, and due to the fact that every chapter was written by different authors, the writing style changed with every chapter.
