Our bathroom is divided into two rooms. Sink in one room then a sliding door closing off the shower and toilet. That second room gets horribly musty, but there's not much room in there, so we needed a small dehumidifier. Enter the Eva-Dry. Well . . . it's pulling water out of the air, that's for sure. So there's that. But that tiny, maybe half-pint tank at the bottom takes 3-4 days to fill up (and trust me, in that room it's not due to a lack of moisture). Years ago I had a much larger bathroom (it housed the washer and dryer without feeling cramped, to give you an idea) that also had a musty problem. We put a larger dehumidifier in there, turned it on after showers in the morning and came home in the evening to dry towels. Proportionally, the situation would be similar here if this thing had any power to it, which it doesn't. But, it does do something, so we leave it on 24/7 while taking other steps such as not leaving wet towels in there and leaving the door open when it's not in use (all of which we weren't doing prior to getting the Eva-Dry) and mustiness in there is minimal. How much of that can I attribute to this product? Well, I spent $50, so I'm going to tell myself, "most of it."
