I love innovative new products, which is why I bought 2 Eva Solo Ice Scrapers, and was ok paying the premium price for it. The problem is that I didn't realize how SMALL they are.

Certainly the scraper end is about the size, if not a little larger than the scraping size of a traditional ice scraper, but the device itself is smaller than a fist. That's great for portability, but I'm sure when I want to clear my windshield I would have wished for a bigger handle.

Also design doesn't meet practicality - It's got a metal handle without any gripping rubber. So 1 - not something you'll want to use without gloves, and 2 - something that could slip out of your hands.

Also, I actually expected the scraper to fold INTO the handle, but it folds to the outside of the handle. More pictures online would have been helpful.

All in all, I'm not disappointed in the product, it serves the purpose I bought it for - to have a very small ice scraper in my coat pocket, or door pocket that I could use quickly. Will it hold up to a few winters? That's yet to be seen.

Just like the other one star review, this cool-looking tool fell apart after about three uses. It had great 'wow' power upon opening the box, but its not durable. The internal black plastic collar snapped apart while scraping snow leaving me holding two pieces.

I emailed EvaSolo directly via email and Yossie from their customer service directed me to amazon returns. I unfortunately bought this for a gift, held it for a few weeks and then it was a few weeks before it really got a test on some Colorado snow. Turns out there is a 30-day return window ...which we missed. So, I'm out $39 for a cool looking but poorly made/tested product.

I love new products and I own other EvaSolo products that I love. They make some things that are very smart and beautiful, but this one needs an overhaul on the plastic design before I can recommend it to anyone.
