While I have liked almost all of DP's books that I have read, this one really stands out because of the heroine, Anna. She is one of Palmer's youngest, 19, but she really knows what (and who!) she wants. I like that she wises up quickly to his rejection and stops chasing him around like a puppy. She loves him so much that she doesn't want him to be the butt of local gossip, so she does the mature thing and tries to move on. I also like that when she finally does get her man, she is nearly as dominant in their love scenes as Evan is, a change from Palmer's usually submissive heroines. This is one sexy story, and is going on my keeper shelf for sure!

Having only read about Evan in the previous book, Harden, I was looking forward to reading his story. However in the beginning I was surprised at how cruel he was to Anna, I could understand it somewhat, but it was just a little too harsh to take sometimes. However it got better towards the middle of the story and I could get over that. I was a bit surprised that he was only 6'4, which I know isn't short, but I always imagined he was taller since he had such a hangup about his size, like around 6'7 or so. Some minor things bothered me some, like the way he woke her up from her coma, which was unbelievable, as well as her talking to her mother about sex so candidly. I never would have talken to my mother about those things so openly. =P Still the chemistry between the two was sizzling to say the least and I was left feeling that it was a good story with a good ending and I enjoyed it immensely even with the little flaws. It was nice to have a heroine with more spine in this story!

Maybe I'm biased, as Evan is so close to the man of my dreams, but I found this to be a really really good book. There was nice continuity from the other tremayne brother books, and Evan is such a good hero. The woman/girl was great too; she was no push over, and she carried out her decisions with dignity. The secondary characters were all great--definitely a keeper!

There's not enough ICK in the world to describe Diana Palmer's fascination with old men bedding little girls. Truly, why doesn't she do something different and write a romance story about a 35 year old woman with a 25 yr old man? At least that would be legal. I don't get it--considering Mrs. Palmer herself is no spring chicken. You'd think she could relate to the views of the "women of today" instead of the old time views of older men/younger women....and in this book, older man/jail bait. I wonder how it would effect her writing if her hubby felt the same way she writes her heros.

Kept me entertained and I really do like that her books are alike, in the end the two that are meant to be together-get together, makes a good love story =]

This is one of my favorite Diana Palmer books. I love the LTT series, but this is one that I have picked up and re-read every few years.

I really loved this book. The rough and tumble cowboy trying to escape the overtures of a young woman he considers to young for him. It is one book in a trilogy. A+++
