5.0 out of 5 stars Possibly the best b-side ever released by the band. A must!
Back in the day when Pearl Jam first hit the music scene I ran all over town trying to find every single I could. I had worn out my copy of TEN and needed more Pearl Jam. I bought bad bootlegs and good ones, but this single is one that has stayed in my CD collection over the years even though others have since been sold off and there is one reason why...DIRTY FRANK...

3.0 out of 5 stars Buy "Alive" Instead
Even flow and Oceans(this single-version is quite well too) are classics(Even flow is certainly one of the best PJ songs... My favorite Hit, after "Do the evolution") so.. why not buy it? I explain. The whole problem is "Dirty Frank". The song follows "No Code tendencies" of cuttin'-edge songs that droped down PJ sale charts by this Album...

Back in the day when Pearl Jam first hit the music scene I ran all over town trying to find every single I could. I had worn out my copy of TEN and needed more Pearl Jam. I bought bad bootlegs and good ones, but this single is one that has stayed in my CD collection over the years even though others have since been sold off and there is one reason why...DIRTY FRANK. This song, written and recorded while on tour opening for the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, shows definite glimpses of the Chili's funk influence on Pearl Jam at this time. The song is fun and funky and certainly doesn't get its due live anymore. But if fans started a drive, much like the BREATH or WASH efforts, I'm sure PEARL JAM would treat us to another live rendition of this classic from the early days.

5.0 out of 5 stars DIRTY FRANK RULES, March 26, 1999

I just wanted to say that Dirty Frank is one of the best songs in the whole PJ world. This alone is enough to buy no one but three of these records. Take it from a real hard core PJ fan.

What can you possibly say? This song, and the others, ROCK. This band continues to amaze me, 11 years later.

5.0 out of 5 stars DIRTY FRANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, October 9, 2001
This review is from: Even Flow / Dirty Frank / Oceans (Rmx) (Audio CD)
This single is worth twice what it costs because of a little b-side that should by all rights be a single:DIRTY FRANK!!!! Dirty Frank is my all time favorite Pearl Jam song, and has become an anthem of sorts where I work. It cannot be beat!

The whole problem is "Dirty Frank". The song follows "No Code tendencies" of cuttin'-edge songs that droped down PJ sale charts by this Album. At Least No Code is cool, interesting. "Dirty Frank" is boring. If you don't have "Ten", go Ahead, it's a nice choose, really. But If you've already bought "Ten" and wants a single... Add "Alive" to your charting, not this one! Safe your ears from the one of the few Eddie's Miskates. Have a Nice Day
