I expected to find a book with specific ideas to help boys, but immediately I found this difficult to read, and full of generalizations. The book appeared to be 60% quotes from others regarding their experiences, and very few worthwhile ideas. I was very disappointed...was not at all what the description sounded like. There were some general truths about boys, but I didn't see anything much I could apply to my standards based classroom.
