Prouty Teaches Aerodynamics!,
By
This review is from: Even More Helicopter Aerodynamics (Paperback)
This is one of the 5 basic books that I use to teach Army Aviators about aerodynamics. "Helicopter Aerodynamics", "More Helicopter Aerodynamics and "Even More Helicopter Aerodynamics", all by Prouty, are unbeatable. Prouty is a engineer by trade but teaches with a talent that makes it easy for all to understand. I can't think of any better advice for someone wishing to learn about helicopter and how they fly than to read all three.

Prouty's wisdom lives on,
By Alan K. Radecki (Fort Worth TX) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Even More Helicopter Aerodynamics (Paperback)
Prouty's RWI columns, which were collected into this and two other volumes, bring the mystery of helicopter aerodynamics home in a practical and valuable way for pilots. If you've by stymied in trying to find a copy of this long out-of-print book, fear not...the three are now back in print, under the single title "Helicopter Aerodynamics" from publisher helobooks.com
