5.0 out of 5 stars Just CALL and ASK for the FEET! Great Product for the $$
As stated in another review, Evenflo discontinued the stabilizing feet for whatever reason. BUT if you call, they will send them for free! I simply called and asked for them and they send them to me ASAP. I was asked several questions and they did want to know in my words how important the feet feature is to pass on to the developers. I also had toys that didn't seem to...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good value, can get spare parts
Received it as a gift for 2nd baby, our first had the Fisher Price Jumparoo, which is a similar, competitive product.

This model has a bit of that classic plastic 'squeakiness' to it, compared to the metal tubed Jumparoo. However, once your baby has played with all the toys, the Evenflo product pulls ahead. One can order 'replacement' parts, or toys, for a...

I simply called and asked for them and they send them to me ASAP. I was asked several questions and they did want to know in my words how important the feet feature is to pass on to the developers. I also had toys that didn't seem to be fully painted. As one review stated she thought she was missing stickers. They aren't stickers, it's simply that they were not painted fully. If you ask for replacement pieces with the correct coloring, they will send those also for FREE! You just have to ask! They have awesome customer service.

My grandchildren LOVE this product. I love the simplicity of it. NO noisy annoying music plays, the baby seems very content and the high adjustments are perfect as they grow. It is extremely easy to put together if you read the instructions. This by far is the number one item I use while baby sitting the grand babies. They always love it.

This model has a bit of that classic plastic 'squeakiness' to it, compared to the metal tubed Jumparoo. However, once your baby has played with all the toys, the Evenflo product pulls ahead. One can order 'replacement' parts, or toys, for a few dollars each, that plug into the base, and can rearrange the plug-parts to keep the landscape 'fresh'.

They are called 'switch-a-roos', and are sold aftermarket. Or you can order from the manufacturer, if you have an alternate model's number.

5.0 out of 5 stars great activity toy for baby!, April 24, 2009
We got the farm version of this for our daughter when she was 4 months old. She liked it then, but know at 6 months, she can't get enough of it! she has just started using it to bounce up and down, but she has always loved the toys on it. I love that they bend, they are great for her teething. this toy is easy to clean and easy to transport from room to room. I let her watch me cook while she plays. She is really interactive with each of the toys, which is great. In the beginning, we kind of thought we should have gotten the upgraded model, but we just couldn't justify spending $40 extra just to add some music. We are not disappointed at all because she is thoroughly entertained with the features it offers. Plus there is enough room on it for us to hand her one of her $10 music toys while she sits there. (problem solved, lol). Great product! Durable! Happy to keep it around for the next baby!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A must for any mom or dad!!!, November 4, 2010

This review is from: Evenflo Farmyard Mega ExerSaucer (Baby Product)
I swear I was going to be "that person" who didn't have bunch of baby madness in their house so I was not planning at ALL to buy one of these gizmos. Once the bouncy chair was too stagnent for our little dude, we had to find something else. So after knowing that another mom found it to be a sanity saver..I went in to buy one.

Pros:
-it's not too fancy, it has just enough to stimulate your child (we started him at 4 months)
-theres a ton of toys that it comes with so your child wont get bored
-it's "footprint" is pretty small as far as "excersaucers" go
-I like the springy action and the fact you can adjust it as they grow
-you can also change out the toys with ease
-it doesnt have lights and battery operated sound which I wanted. Who needs THAT much stimulation? I didn't want that for my child
-stable, sturdy, easy to put together (I did it in about 15 min)
-this buys be at least 30-45 min so that I can make dinner, go to the restroom, eat etc. For this it was WELL worth the money!!
-great to get your baby off his/her back to reduce flat head syndrome!

Cons:
-cost of course and it's another "baby thing" that will be in your living room. Oh well who cares. I look at it like an extra pair of hands when my hubby is not home.
-the spinny seat is a bit wide (we have to put baby blankets around my 4 month old) since he is still a bit of a bobble head and is a skinny dude

I would buy this again in a heartbeat! That's how much it's been a sanity saver for me (I was not about to spend 100.00 and I'm glad I didn't some of the other styles are HUGE and way to over stimulating in my opinion).

5.0 out of 5 stars Lifesaver!, February 17, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Evenflo Farmyard Mega ExerSaucer (Baby Product)
This was bought for our third child, and one of the best purchases we have ever made. We already owned a swing, a jumperoo, a walker, and floor toys for our previous child. Our baby girl was tiny as she was born prematurely. However, at five months old she is very independent and wanting to stand up all the time. Our arms were very tired! She was too small for the walker and the jumperoo. She would get tired of the swing and the floor toys. She would arch her back and stiffen her legs, then smile in delight if we let her stand in our arms. I kept looking at the ExerSaucers at various stores, and finally decided to buy this one because it was offered at such a good price compared to the others. I also liked the bright colors even though this was for a girl because babies seem to be more stimulated by bright contrasting colors instead of the light pastel ones. We have had the Evenfo Farmyard ExerSaucer for almost a month, and our daughter loves this toy! She happily jumps, turns in the revolving chair, and plays with the toys available all around her. The best thing about this ExerSaucer is that the legs are adjustable, so she could fit in the lowest setting with a folded bath towel under her feet. You do have to assemble the product, but it took only minutes to do so. The only remotely challenging part of the assembly was putting the springs into the legs and putting on the yellow caps without dropping the springs, the legs, or the cap part. I was nervous about it staying together like that, but we have had no problems with it so far. The ExerSaucer seems sturdy and a good design. My teenager has moved this one by pulling on the toys, and although I told her not to do that anymore, the toys did not break. My five year old plays with the baby, showing her how to use the toys. I have to remind him not to lean or sit against the ExerSaucer because I'm afraid his weight will break the toy or bend the springs, but nothing has occured so far. This toy takes up less floor space than the swing or the Jumperoo. It takes up about the same space as the walker. Since we have bought this ExerSaucer, I have noticed that a couple of other friends have the same one for their baby. They seem to be happy with theirs as well.

2.0 out of 5 stars needs music/lights, September 25, 2009
this needs a music/lights toy attached. I think you can buy one that will fit perfectly that is interchangeable from some of Evenflo's other products. but I was hoping at $55 it would have it already, I was mistaken. Also some feet would be nice. we only use this for babysitting, if it were my son, I would get the one with all the bells and whistles. I bought one with all the great things for $40 about 9 years ago, now they are $100+, what a jip.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic "No Bells No Whistles" Product!, April 11, 2010

This review is from: Evenflo Farmyard Mega ExerSaucer (Baby Product)
We love this exersaucer. We had been searching for one for our 5 month old daughter. We looked at buying a used one that had more "toys" on it, but this exersaucer, brand new, was $10 more than the "used" ones we looked at. Now if you're looking for the bells and whistles, don't look at this one. This is a simple model with no electronics on it. It has kept our daughter very much entertained. And honestly, I think having all the bells and whistles is mainly for the parents and not what the baby needs. Trust me, this is plenty enough to keep your baby busy, entertained, and happy.

The only very minutely minor negative comment is that a couple of the switch-a-roo toys come out of the hole, BUT, I'm not sure if it's because of my toddler pulling it out or the plastic hole is slightly to big. In either case, this could happen to any model exersaucer.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good 2nd activity center, December 28, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We bought this as a second sit-in activity center for our baby. Our son is very entertained by all the toys on it and the barn yard styling is cute enough.

As others have said I wish it had a taller setting. The directions say your child is not supposed to put his feet flat on the bottom -- only the balls of their feet should touch. At 7 months (and with the toy brand new) our son is already on the highest setting.

This is a nice enough toy, but if you're only buying one I would go with the other one we have -- the Baby Einstein jumper.

#1- The Baby Einstein jumper goes up much higher and so will be usable for longer.
#2- The Baby Einstein jumper has arches for toys to hang on instead of just activities around the seat. In the excersaucer our son sits and plays happily with all the toys right in front of him. In the Baby Einstein he also stands and reaches for the hanging toys, which helps develops those muscles.
#3- To change toys for this you must buy special toys. The Baby Einstein has toys hanging on links that can be switched out with any toys that can hang on a link, which includes most baby toys.

One plus the Exersaucer does have over our Baby Einstein is that it has a smaller footprint and is lighter for moving around.

3.0 out of 5 stars Baby can eat stickers, August 28, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Evenflo Farmyard Mega ExerSaucer (Baby Product)
This Exersaucer is a great value being both Exersaucer and a jumper. It was easy to assemble and we've had it about 4 months now and it's still going strong.

HOWEVER, I just noticed that my little one likes to suck on the "book" part of the toy. I didn't know this but the images on the "book" are just stickers. How do I know this now? When I found remnants of sticker around my baby's mouth.

Because of this I wouldn't recommend it.

We bought this product knowing that it didn't have the (sometimes annoying) bells and whistles of some of the other bouncers, but my daughter loves it and that's all that matters. She's been using for about three months now and still loves spending time in it. Also it seems like this is less sensory overload than some of the offerings these days.
