I really liked this seat. Loved the blue color and shiny finish. The elastic strap around the two cup holders on each side was nice to accommodate all sizes and shapes of cups.

Overall the base/seat was a good size, a little smaller than the previous seat we normally use which was good because we were in a smaller car than usual. Of course if you have a small back seat and try to use it in the middle it would be wider than the seat area allotted for the middle person. Which leaves the people on each side a little cramped. This also makes the seat belt a little harder and trickier to latch. But it definitely served its purpose and was lightweight and easy to transfer from car to car as needed.

I bought this seat sight unseen from Amazon. I had never heard about it before my search and based my purchase off of the other reviews. I am glad I purchased this booster seat and had no regrets or buyers remorse. It was exactly what I needed and wanted.

My child really liked the arm rests, but did not like how the arm rests were rounded and made their arms slide off sometimes with different sitting positions.

Overall, I would highly recommend this seat for your big kid!

I ordered this seat because my husband and I were taking our four year-old son on a vacation, and I knew we'd be riding in a lot of taxis over long distances so I wanted him to be safe. We'd only used a five-point child seat before this trip, so even though our son was (just) heavy enough (40 pounds) and tall enough for a booster I was quite nervous about using it. I chose this seat because it was one of the extremely few backless boosters chosen by the (American) Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (here's the URL for their booster test results: [...]). I admit I don't know if this booster passes European safety standards, but because of it's ranking by the Insurance Institute here I was willing to risk it overseas. Please note however, that if you're thinking of buying this internationally you might want to verify that it's considered safe enough by your own country's requirements, as they can be different.

To my very delighted shock, the 'Amp' car seat worked perfectly and very, very easily from the first time I placed it in the back seat of a London taxi. We rarely even needed the attached belt clip (also very easy to use) because the shoulder belt fell correctly almost every single time without it. The lap belt was always exactly placed as well.

The seat is light, which was another bonus since we had a lot of luggage to haul around. My son was even able to carry it by himself without difficulty. I've also cleaned both the cushion and the plastic seat itself, so I can attest to how easy it is to remove the cushion and wipe dirt off it, as well as off the plastic seat underneath. It also seemed to be quite comfortable for my son, since he sat in it for a nearly four-hour drive and never once complained about the booster.

For being able to add price and convenience to the fact that this is one of the safest boosters on the market, I don't think you can do much better than this product.

We reviewed so many booster seats and kept coming back to the Evenflo Big Kid AMP based on its many 5-star reviews. We've had it for almost 6 months now, and I absolutely agree with the other 5-star ratings. It is really easy to get in and out for carpooling, my kids like the cup holders, and the fabric seems to be made very well.

Loved this product -- it is working out great. Our child sits a little higher in this booster seat so they can see out the window. The elastic on the cup holders is a great feature because we can use different sized cups and it holds each type firmly. I would highly recommend it.

The seat tend to slide when child slouches in seat. When child falls asleep in seat, the head manages to slip pass the seat belt.

For the money, this is a great buy. Only reservation is the hardness of the seat.

I purchased this seat so we could more easily take our grandson in the car with us when we visit. My research showed this with a 5 star safety rating, so that was a huge factor! It's light weight, easy to get in and out of the car, and will be easy to store when we're not there :-) And he loved feeling more like a "grown up".

I was deciding between the Graco and this backless booster and read a lot of reviews for each booster. The Institute for Highway Safety recommends this backless booster and not the Graco one (google it and you should find their report). Apparently the Graco one doesn't always fit all cars which is what I read as the reason for the Graco backless booster not being endorsed by the IHS. I already own a Graco backless booster and I won't stop using it but I will say that my kids are fighting over this one. The cup holders work on the bigger bottles the kids sometimes carry and they won't fit in the Graco cup holder. This seat looks like it is more comfortable, I cannot say for sure that it is more comfortable since I can't sit in it personally but it looks comfortable and my kids think it is comfortable. If and when I need to buy more backless boosters, I am going to buy more of this one as opposed to Graco, mainly because since they are similar, the extra endorsement by the IHS tips me over to buying this one. Safety comes first but the kids also love the bright colors and the elastic cup holders.

I'd highly recommend this seat. Consumer affairs ranked it one of the safest and it's a reasonable price. It's comfy and easy to use.

This is the 20th or so carseat I have owned as a parent of 3. Its the best booster I've had and it seems comfortable, the little cup holders are good because they don't stick out. It doesn't seem to slide around at all, the last ones we had would slide all over the seat and they would flip up when the kids got up out of them. These really stay put. they are also "cool" according to my five year old twins. They both like these seats and can easily buckle themselves too. There is plenty of room for them to get hands down to the buckle. over all I would say these are a great bet. and not too pricey
