The insurance institue for highway safety rates this booster as a best bet. Being a best bet means that this booster is likely to position lap and shoulder belts correctly on many children in many cars, minivans, and SUVs. The clip that is provided is great. It allows you to position the shoulder portion of the seat belt properly.

I purchased this for my seven year old. She is average size and fits just fine. I really like the drink holder because it can accomodate any shape drink. It looks like it will be easy to wipe clean. Compared to others that I tested at stores, this had the best cushion for the price.

Great price for a great booster. My daughter loves the color and it is very comfortable. This received very high safety marks from the NHTSA.

I shopped around for a while as my daughter approached the height and weight requirements for a booster. Having looked at so many in person, at Target and Babies R Us, I know how cheap and flimsy some of them feel--so thin and hollow. Part of the reason I decided to get this one was due to the fact that it felt sturdier than others. For being a backless booster, it really is substantial-feeling. My daughter loved, loved, loved the hot pink, too, of course.
Some folks have slammed the cup holders, but we adore them. They're an example of minimalist design making for maximum function; because they consist of just that elastic strap, every single different size cup fits in there with ease, and stays snug enough that I've never worried about it tipping, but accessible enough that she doesn't need help getting the cup in or out.
My daughter was a few months shy of five years old and 42 inches tall when she started in this seat, and we had to use the shoulder clip that came with it, which was easy and stayed in place (we have a big SUV). I love that there's a little storage slot under the seat for the clip when it's not needed. Once the first kid outgrows the clip, you can store it there unobtrusively until the seat gets handed down to a sibling.

My 6-year-old daughter and I are very happy with this booster seat. She is big for her age, and this seat is so much roomier than the one we had. No more struggling to buckle the seat when placing it across her lap under the arm of the seat. She likes the drink holders, and pink is her favorite color. I think it will be easier to keep clean as well.

This seat has really good padding as compared to other backless boosters. We use ours in a school carpool and it is very easy for my child to move it to different cars. She can also buckle the seatbelt herself with no problem. My daughter loves the hot pink color. Looks like clean up on this seat will be a snap.

Perfect seat for my four year old granddaughter. She is comfortable and can easily use buckle to unlock and hop out of car. Saving my back!! Love the color and drink holders.

This seat is great because the black part shows a lot less dirt than other seats and can be wiped down with a wet cloth. It works just as well as the expensive ones (I have both) but for half the price. My daughter LOVES the hot pink!

My 4-year-old is still in a Britax car seat most of the time, but we recently took a plane trip and I didn't want to lug it around with me in and out of the plane and rental car. So I picked this up for our trip and to hang onto for next year, when I'll make the full transition.

It was very handy-- not a pain to pack at all (you can even pack it in your suitcase and put clothes on top of it if you have some room), very simple to put it in a car and adjust the shoulder strap, and a nice jazzy color that my daughter loved. Handy to have the simple cup holder elastics, too. The material is easy to clean and doesn't have spots where "stuff" will get stuck.

I was encouraged by the safety ratings, and very happy to see the price was affordable. The reviews are right: this one's a winner.

I was a little nervous about switching my daughter from her convertable child 5-harness / booster to a backless booster, but I could not be happier. She could not buckle herself in the other one because the sides were too high, but there is no problem with this one. She is comfortable, she loves the elastic cup holders, and she was the perfect height so I didn't have to use the included seat belt clip. The clip stores in the bottom of the booster in case its needed in a different vehicle. I definitely recommend this seat to parents looking to switch to a booster. In another year when my son can switch, I plan on buying another one in blue!
