First off, I purchased this car seat according the Nation Traffic and Highway Safety Admin. It had four stars for crash ratings. On top of it being safe, its VERY light and easy to use. There are two level indicators on the seat, to ensure proper installation in the vehicle. Three different positions for the seat incline. The release is very easy on the back of the seat (red bar) just push and its off the base. It does come with a head pillow. I made the mistake of pulling all three tags off at once, DO NOT do this. It tore but I will take it to my alterations and make a quick fix. The color is just like the picture and I think its better in person. I am expecting July 4 so I don't have any experience with how my child will fit, but I am sure it will be easy. I had a Britax with my son and really dislike it. He screamed all the time. So I did research to find the best and safest one out here for my son this time around. I have read over 400 reviews on this seat, so based on what I read and safety ratings I picked this seat! This car seat is perfect in every way. I LOVE the black and gray color scheme, very stylish, I'm having a lil girl and hate pink and cheesy designs so this is just perfect for my style and will look awesome in my mercedes :). The fabric is great for cleaning potential accidents and is very padded and well made. I love the infant extra head support that comes with the seat, I can tell it will hold her head nice and secure. With my 1st I had no clue I'd need a head support and had to hold his head all the way home from the hospital then buy a support, very nice that evenflo covered it with this seat. Straps were very easy to adjust, canopy snapped right in, seat fits in base perfectly. I did cut all those info tags off so it looks nicer and isn't in the way of the canopy velcro that attaches it to the back of the seat. Love the handle, perfect and easy to carry. This is my 2nd evenflo car seat and I've been 100% pleased every time. Great well made stylish product. Color looks even better in person when compared to this picture.

I bought this car seat to use for my little boy, who got big very quickly after he was born. It was perfect when he was very little; the head pillow is crucial for newborns because it really helps keep their head from falling from side to side. At 3 months and 15 pounds, however, he is almost too tall to use this seat anymore, and I had to order a new, convertible one. As my baby isn't particularly tall, I don't think that most babies will be able to use this seat until they're 22 pounds.

This is a great car seat for the price! I ordered it for my best friend as a gift for her baby shower, and was actually bummed I didn't get one like this for my baby when she was an infant. The cover is like soft nylon, so it wipes clean super easy, the head support is great quality, the seat has 3 reclining positions and is easy to click in and remove from the stationary base... I would DEFINITELY recommend this! Super fast shipping.

We had an older version (2 yrs) of this same carrier and it had much less padding and seemingly lower-quality fabric.
We were very pleased with the older model. My daughter spent a lot of time in it, in fact she wouldn't sleep most anywhere else, so we are confident that it is comfortable.
The handle allows for multiple hand positions, so it can stay comfortable for an extended period of time.
For the money, you might be able to do better, but you can almost certainly do worse.

Great seat, would definitely get it again.

Pros: Handle is perfect, light weight seat, in-expensive. Fits great in our car, very firm base & fit. Also the neck support pillow is wonderful. It provides great neck stabilization from side to side and is portable. I have taken it out and used it in our infant stroller which lacks such a thing.

Cons:
-Length may be an issue. Our baby is around 22 inches and his shoulders are getting close to the highest shoulder adjustment slot. We may need to move a larger seat soon at the 2 month plus range.
-Sweaty the baby can sweat a bit in the car, but not sure if its clothing, crying, or seat related. The baby tends to sweat when he cries.
-Should strap adjustments could be easier to manage. Sometimes it takes a fair bit of pushing/pulling to get it to budge.
-Crotch strap is harder to work. Not so bad since I rarely ever change it, however you will want to practice moving it before the big day comes.
-Hard to find a dedicated stroller for this seat. No worries since its so light. We wind up using a larger stroller with towels when we need to go somewhere.

I love this car seat. I like the pattern and colors, and it was easy to put together. It is easy to clean and my baby seems very comfortable. I would recommend this car seat, especially for the price!

I bought this car seat and it is the worst ever. The cover has caused my son to break out in rash and his head bleeds from it. Not worth the money.

I only gave this car seat 4 stars because I wish the cannopy was fully adjustable like my last car seat. It's spewer light weight and fits in my tiny car and the padding is good. Can't complain.

Excellent car seat. Great for boy or girl. Only issue we have is it is very heavy. The seat is heavy enough and then you add the baby and wow. Not bad when a newborn but since you use it well into the 1st yr you can't carry it anymore you have to take baby out of it or kill yourself getting them both out of car at the same time. Over all EXCELLENT car seat.
