I registered for this item as an afterthought. I didn't really think I'd use a pack n' play much but others encouraged me to ask for one. I basically picked this because the color and pattern matched my living room set (where the pnp would be used).

I had a hard time setting the thing up. I couldn't get one leg on it to lock in place, the others were very easy. I had others try and assemble it on their own, just to be sure the problem wasn't something I was doing.

The unit is now set up but I dont consider it to be portable because I dont want to take it back down again due to the difficulty. My daughter never liked the NB bassinet area of it. It's just not very cozy (plastic covering) and the toys are too close to her face for me to use those initially to keep her entertained. At that age she loved the light on the music/light thing but the light doesn't stay on so it doesn't hold her attention once it turns off.

On the flip side the music offered (there are alot) sounds great, which most things that have this feature sound pretty bad. I've just taken out the bassinet and moved my daughter into the next portion of it and the toys are now at a good eye level for her and she's plenty entertained by them with the combination of that and the music.

My only real issue was the problem with assembly and that the pads are all plastic and not very comfortable for her.
