i did not buy this item here. i actually got it at my baby shower even though i had registered for a free-standing jumper. i thought it was a little old fashioned, but kept it to use when my baby was old enough.
the first time, our daughter used the jumper, she looked so small in the seat. she seemed confused and overwhelmed. we put it away and didn't pull it back out for over a month. we tried it on a whim one day. she gets fidgety easily and is getting too big for her bouncer. we were cleaning and put her in the jumper. SHE LOVED IT! she jumped, she laughed, she played with the toys/learning pod.... and the best part was that she was content for a long period of time! It's portable so you can take it room to room or to the grandparent's houses. The only draw back is making sure there are proper doorways to hold it. The learning pod/activity bar plays different music and phrases. It also lights up.... which our baby loved as well. You can remove toy pod and use snack tray underneath. Great product!

Unfortunately I was unable to use this jumper as my apartment has high ceilings and doorways and jumper does not accomodate doorway heights above 7 feet. Very frustrating that this was not noted anywhere on description of jumper. When I called product helpline they told me, but admitted info was not included in product description. Thought I'd post this to warn others.

In a cramped little apartment
With little space to move
There ain't no space for toys
Nowhere to chill and groove

But this handy jumper
Doesn't use precious space
Not like an exersaucer
Which takes up the whole place

At just four months old
Our daughter bounced without a fret
Now at almost eight months
She isn't bored yet

We we give our recommendation
in a rhyme that's quite pathetic
Go ahead and get the jumper
We promise, you won't regret it

This jumper is a great alternative to a fixed one. I didn't want to pay the outrageous prices for the jumperoos. They take up so much space, too!

This jumper works just as well at entertaining my daughter. There are toys attached that keep her occupied along with music. They toys come off so you can change things up.

Make sure, before you order, that you have doors and/or archways that have molding on them- that is what the large clip grabs onto.

Adjustment is easy. Putting your infant in the jumper may be a bit difficult. It took me a few times to develop a method to doing it on my own. I also have a method for making sure she doesn't slam her fingers in the hinges on the door. Smartly, the bouncer has a wide bumper to help keep them from smashing their fingers between the bouncer and the door frame. I'm sure it could still happen, but in the several months I've owned this, it hasn't (and my daughter can go pretty nuts with the bouncing).

My daughter favors one side while bouncing, which causes the main strap to get twisted. One day, I noticed that she had it wound so tight that she could no longer touch the ground- she started spinning around really fast as the strap unwound. She and I both thought this was hysterical, but I can see how that would be a negative of having a door bouncer.

All in all, this is a good bouncer and a fantastic door bouncer. For the price, I would definitely recommend it!

Our son is a jumper...he's loved it since he was 4-5 mths old & still loves it at 10mths. We own two of these - this one for home & the Graco Jumper Bumper for the office. Originally - I preferred this one - mainly because of the toy. It spins - my son loves spinny things. We've now removed the toy from the jumper & it's one of his favorite toys (he could care less when he's jumping). But now that he's bigger - 10mths & 22lbs - this one really is not suitable for him. The weight limit I believe is 25lbs, whereas the Graco Jumper Bumper weight limit is supposedly 90 something (which is absurd - no one at 90lbs could fit in that thing, let alone jump) - but still - it means that it comfortably fits him - without me sitting there watching tensely to make sure the spring doesn't fail or the rope doesn't give way. Additionally - the graco jumper bumper has - as the name implies - a bumper - a rubber edge. Not too big of a thing when they're 4-5mths old - but at 10mths my boy can seriously jump - he's banging into the door & scratching it all over. Additionally - the plastic material feels a lot flimsier than the Graco Jumper Bumper.

I've already told my boyfriend to bring the Graco home because I can no longer use this one.

Ultimately - it's suitable for the younger months/sizes - and the toy it comes with is fabulous if your child like to spin things - but if you're looking for a jumper, I'd suggest the Graco Jumper Bumper...it'll last longer & it seems to be a higher quality jumper. And if you're concerned with your doors/walls being scratched - definitely go for the jumper bumper!

This thing is VERY NOISY!!! It has a giant metal spring in the white thing at the top, and it sounds like a bad boxspring on a good night. Ha! The first time anyone hears it, they give me that look: "You know what that sounds like." Now, with that being said, this thing is totally entertaining for the baby! My eight month old daughter loves jumping around in it. We have a bonus room that our entertainment center is in, and the entrance is a five-foot wide, framed opening. Probably was suppose to have French doors or something. Anyway, the little jumper clips to the top with no problem. You HAVE TO have molding in a doorway or archway for this thing to work. If you have smooth arches with rounded corners and stuff, you can't use this. Also, when in a doorway, it gets a little bit of a bumper car effect. The big wide opening allows my daughter to jump around quite a bit without hitting a wall. I've tried it in a doorway, and it is fun, but not as much fun. Also, it collapses down to next to nothing. If it came with a travel bag, it would be even better, but you could just throw it in any old bag or not. Doesn't matter. The little music toy is nice but repetative, like any entertainer. For fun factor, I give it five stars. For the noise, I give it one star. Overall, I think it is a three.
