5.0 out of 5 stars Compact with full size features, March 23, 2008

I bought this stroller to have a small stroller in my car for unplanned adventures; and for a recent roadtrip to the grandparents, where the full size stroller would not fit (along with everything else we had to pack). I absolutely love it, and would highly recommend it. It has a basket, though small it is enough for a small diaper bag. It has a fabric bar at the top which can hold 2 sippy cups and smaller zippered area for some small snacks. This stroller sits higher than those cheapy umbrella strollers so you are not hunching your back. Many features as good or better than similar compacts costing much more (MacLauren, Chicco).

5.0 out of 5 stars Just as great as an expensive $50 + stoller! I will never use another one again. :), March 28, 2008
This review is from: Evenflo X Sport Convenience Stroller - Grey (Baby Product)
I love this stroller way more then my maclauren or my old graco or any other brand I have tried! It's light weight, small, holds both my drink & my daughter's (but you cant put a large drink or it may spill!) and my sunglasses, and keys and my book to read while we go to the park, the sunshade is great and the underneath isent huge but I dont need a big one I have a compact thing that hold's my diapers and wipes and my mat for it all in one plus an attachment that holds grocery's that snaps on to the handle bars and it holds my daughters water bottle and juice bottle too for long trips!

This stroller is great for drs, parks, malls, out and about, even quick trips to the store!

Cons - doesnt recline but my child can still sleep in it. :) And she sleeps so well I might add.

*Dont not put bags on handles with child in or out of the stroller stroller may flip! Never leave your child unattended in any device, stroller or car!

update july 2010

So after so much use and abuse from parks to places like wild animal park, gardens and beach even its still working like a champ. I even left it out in a bad winter storm (at least a week) and realized it and thought it would be ruined but it wasnt. Didn't even get to bad from it. I gave it to a friend recently when both kids no longer wanted to be in strollers for her new baby and she uses it often even when he was a little baby and she said he was fine in it. Her son also enjoys pushing his little brother in the stroller as he can reach the handles with ease. She is also tall 5'8" and says she loves it and the fact if she needs to go travel she can take it with her even on a plane so it's such a life saver. I think I paid $20 and its gotten well more then that out of it.

Read comments if wanting to know difference in the types of strollers.

As for people saying the hit the wheels the only time I did this is if I was slouching while walking and taking big steps like over a puddle and stuff. IDK maybe I have shorter legs. But I wear a size 10 - 11 womans shoe so I know my big old feet should do it more but it didn't happen much for me.

I also used a sweater rolled for my daughter as she reached 40 lbs for her neck for support. Just roll it up and place under their head/ neck area and it will help a little if you ever have a head angel issue.

I liked this stroller was a little heavier then the cheaper ones as it's is super durable and will last. I only paid $20 for mine at walmart when they came out and I tested it in store with my child before buying.

I used this with my daughter whom is tall and thin with special needs and gtube also and it worked great for her to. I liked the 3 point for her as her gtube wont get snagged by a harness in this 3 point. She also slept well in it and enjoyed the ride when we went on adventures.

Shes got ADHD and the 3 point harness was fine. But as I said never let go of the stroller and always keep your eyes open for a child bending over in the seat, unbuckling, leaning or anything like that to ensure safety. I always did this and would stop often to remind her of safety and rules and she would knock it off and we'd continue.

I also used this in a san marcos summer heat to walk often to the parks or stores locally on side walks that I would need to push on the back metal bar to pop it up and get it on to if it had no wheel chair access on it. So that was not a hard thing to do and something you'd do in any stroller or bike or wheel chair on those side walks.

I even took it in parking lots, dirt, sand, water, grass, you name it and it held up great. I mean I am sure the ride was bumpy a little on some types of ground given its not for off roading and had no shocks but hey it got me threw what I needed it to.

Fot the price yes you get what you pay for but I think in this case it was still a great buy. It is a basic umbrella stroller not a BIG jogging or system type stroller. It's basic, it's durable and its made for places with heat with it's fabric and netting on the back area of the child.

So if your looking for something for a place like the zoo, airport, wild animal park, lego land, disney land, theme parks, around town to parks or quick grocery store trip and not wanting to use a cart I say it's great.

But if you are taller then I think it says 5'6" evenflo says to get the one with taller handles to make the driving more comfortable and go to a local walmart they should have this model on display to get an idea on it before you buy it. I usually do this so I know what I am buying.

I also make sure if I can't I can return products with out an issue if unhappy with the product with in a timely manor.

3.0 out of 5 stars It's ok, but not great!, September 6, 2008
As other views have mentioned, this is a very sturdy, easily manuverable (small enough to zip through crowded store racks), everyday stroller. I will also agree tho that the handles are a bit too short as we end up leaning over quite a bit (very hard on the back) and kicking the back wheels all the time. -And I and my husband are only 5'5" and 5'9" respectively. I don't consider us tall, and so therefore didn't think this would be our issue as well. In retrospect, we would have both much preferred to purchase the one with the raiseable handles that was only slightly more money. Also since these smaller strollers don't have the large bar that the travel systems do, our son LOVES to lean forward to try and touch the wheels while we are in motion. Because of this, we probably should have gone with a 5 point harness as well, even though we never used the top portion of it on our Graco travel system stroller before. And lastly, just as an FYI, forget getting anything in that lower basket once your child is in the stroller. It barely fits a purse to begin with and once the seat is occupied? Good luck!
