5.0 out of 5 stars Love it!
My husband and I love this carseat. We have a 7 1/2 month old daughter and it's so much more comfortable for her than her carrier carseat. It fits well into the backseat of our Honda Accord, and she sits a lot higher so she can see out her window. The price was great, the color is great, the safety/comfort of the seat is great, and it also has a higher weight limit...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not good.
I bought this car seat for my daughter about a year ago and it has served us well. It's big but comfortable and I love the sliding shoulder straps. HOWEVER, I went to move the car seat yesterday from the middle of the car to one side and found that the mechanism you press to release the latch system is broken/stuck. That means that I can't pull it tighter to make the...

I would recommend this to anyone!

5.0 out of 5 stars As good or better than Britax, May 26, 2009

I have 6 different types of carseats including Britax carseats, and this is the best seat out of all. My daughter is always comfortable (her head is never hanging forward / her neck doesn't appear to be unfortable). The seat is very cushy. This is huge because all of the other seats except the Britax seats I have are uncomfortable for sleeping. The seat straps are easily adjustable for your growing child.

Overall, because the price is so awesome and it is super comfortable, this seat deserves an A+.

I had planned on getting the Britax Roundabout, but saw that this seat was ranked just as high by Consumer Reports, but for $100 less.

We love this seat. It was a breeze to install. It adjusts so easily that it makes putting the baby in the car seat a simple task instead of a chore. It seems comfortable and cushiony. My 20-lb. six-month-old loves riding it it.

I have no complaints at all. It is large; but we installed it in a captain's seat in our mini-van, so size wasn't an issue for us. If you have a small car, size may be an issue.

I'd definitely recommend it. The price seems to vary on Amazon, so if you're looking for a deal, watch the price for a while. We got it for $129.99 when we bought it in February '09.

The only problem I have with this carseat is that it is too tall and bulky for my Honda Civic. I purchased a similar deluxe product from Evenflo a couple of years ago and it was perfect for my car. With this one, whenever I need to take the carseat out and put it back in, it could take me up to an hour to get it tightened up just right. My Honda is an older model and just isn't suitable for many of the latest carseats. Otherwise, it is a good carseat.

Good value for the money. This is the only car seat I've owned, so I have nothing to compare it to - but no complaints from the little guy. We bought this as our son grew out of the infant seat (travel system). At 19 lbs., this chair is installed rear facing in our Toyota Camry and another in a Honda Odyssey. The chair is bigger than I thought and am looking forward to use forward facing. It was a bit challenging to install in the Camry. The only way to make easier is to remove the front seat!? All things considered, I would certainly buy again.

I purchased this seat for my growing grandson. I did my research. This is a great car seat and he loves it. Easy to adjust the harness from either side and easy to get him in and out of the seat. The seat is nicely padded and Nick is comfortable.
I highly recommend this seat.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Carseat, March 4, 2008

I like this carseat. It installs easily, and is quite comfortable although this seat is quite large. I also have an evenflo triumph DLX that I LOVE, and wanted a larger seat to be able to use with five point harness until my daughter is at least four. The only part I don't like as much with the Triumph advance DLX is the harness attachments, the clip is difficult and the crotch strap is not the same circular style, and tends to cut in a little on legs. Other than that, I like this seat.

5.0 out of 5 stars Luxurious, April 24, 2009

I bought this particular car seat because of reviews of its wonderful safety rating and ease of use. I was more than pleased when it arrived to discover how comfy and luxurious it is. A lot of car seats are really quite hard, leaving your baby sitting on hard Styrofoam or plastic. This one almost feels like it has memory foam inside it. It also has a removable/adjustable head rest and lumbar support to help it custom fit your baby. the straps are much easier to use than our infant car seat, and the release/ tightening system is easy and accessible. We jokingly call it the 'baby throne'; it is the only seat I have ever seen my son voluntarily sit in -he stayed in it for several min without restraints! Great car seat! Highly recommend it:)

We were going to get a Britax model but went with this model after reading the Consumer Reports review. I'm sure Britax lives up to its name but I wanted to see if I could find a comparable seat for less and I think I was successful.
The positive Consumer Reports review gave me the peace of mind I was looking for.

5.0 out of 5 stars About Perfect, June 16, 2009

This review is from: Evenflo Triumph Advance DLX Convertible Car Seat - Parkside (Baby Product)
This is the best seat I've ever used. It has a harness you adjust by a simple glide, so you never have to uninstall and rethread. It also means any size child can ride in it (son in morning, daughter in afternoon), as long as he/she meets the height, weight for its position of rear or front. You don't have to have a separate car seat fitted for each child if you're going to take them around one at a time. It fits to 50 pounds so is MUCH safer than sticking your child in a booster after 40 pounds. The knob on the side is really use to adjust the straps each time, and you don't have to fool with pulling a strap between the kid's legs. This is probably the best feature ever, as you can do this even with a baby in one hand!
It is very comfortable, and it fits perfectly in my 2005 Honda Civic. The colors mean it won't stain easily. The only think I wish it had is the new SureLatch system where you just click it on the Latch, and the tension is pulled out automatically. I don't think the company could do that though, since Latch has a 40 or 48 lb. (depending on car) weight limit. We installed it once and for all so it's not an issue now, I suppose. Heavy, but safe.
My son is almost 3 and loves this seat. He is big at 40 inches and 38 pounds. He'll ride in here for some time yet.
