I was t-boned at 35mph by some woman driving her minivan while texting. Our mazda is totaled, my wife and I are bruised up, but my son is safe and sound. He actually laughed after the crash and I promptly ordered the same seat to replace the old one.

it's BIG, but it does its job. Very easy to install and adjust, I love how you don't have to re-rout the straps to grow with your little one.

The fabric is more greyish, rather than the blue you see online, but it actually looks much nicer in the grey. We installed the seat rear-facing and it took about 30min. The seat comes packaged for forward-facing installation so you end up pretty much disassembling the entire carseat to then put it back together facing the other direction. It's a bit harder to install level than our Chicco Keyfit30 Infant Carrier, but it is possible. Be aware it may require a few attempts at rolling a towel just the right thickness to put underneath if you have an angled back seat. As an additional heads up, this carseat comes with the standard latch clips, not the delux latch clips, so you'll have to do a bit more digging to get them hooked properly. It would be awesome if they switched to the delux clips, then it's just 'click' and tighten. Make sure you tug on the latch strap to ensure the latch caught the hook properly. I haven't taken the carseat out since install, so I can't comment on the ease or difficulty of getting the clips off. I'm not looking forward to it though. Also be sure you have enough room in the backseat for this carseat if you want it rear-facing. Since it has a fairly high back and you need to recline it somewhat it does take quite a bit of room. We had to move our front seat forward a few inches more than we did with the Chicco.

Once it's installed though, it's wonderful. Adjusting the strap height is a breeze and clipping or unclipping the buckles is fairly effortless. Adjusting the strap tightness takes a bit of care, it's easy enough just turning the nob, but since the straps tighten from the bottom, rather than the top, you need to keep an eye on the crotch-clip.

I got this car seat 3 weeks ago for my 8 month old daughter. She is 25 lbs and 31 inches tall, and had outgrown her Graco Snugride 35. It was time to upgrade to a convertible seat. I originally bought a Graco My ride 65, and I really liked that it had built in cupholders, but after getting it I didn't like how it fit her. As big as it was, it didn't seem that she had a lot of room to grow in it. So I ordered my second choice, the Evenflo Triumph 65. The cupholder is a joke on this, but really, thats not the most important part of a car seat. My husband said it was easy enough to install it. We have a prius and needed to put a folded towel under the front of it (we installed it rear facing) to get it even according to the arrows on the side. We also placed a cut up old yoga mat under it to keep it from marking the seat since it really digs in (but I do like how it feels really secure on the seat).

Im just going to make this into a quick list and save you time.

Pros:
- looks great. I love this pattern. It looks really nice and I like how it feels too.

Our 18 month old had out-grown her rear-facing Graco car-seat with stroller. We saw other Triumph 65 models at various local stores but the price on here was much better. This is a huge upgrade from her old seat in comfort and sizing. We rally have only three minor complaints:

1. The cup holder is pathetic. We didn't even bother attaching it.
2. It was a little difficult to get tightened down to the van seat when rear facing. I ended up using both the anchor clips AND the seatbelt to tighten it down.
3. The strap loosen/tighten mechanism some times jams and makes it a little difficult to loosen the straps to get the child out.

Otherwise, we are very happy with the purchase. From placing our child in comparible seats in-stores this one seemed to be the most comfortable one that actually had a legitimate (although not extremely easy to use) recline feature. Some of the others say they recline, but the degree of recline is so laughable on most of the other models that I would be ashamed to even list it in the product features.

I love this car seat!! It fits perfectly in the middle seat if my Honda civic. It would be took big on the side in the rear facing position, but by the time we need to move it over to make room for a baby car seat it will be forward facing. It is so easy to get my son in and out and he has done several 6+ hour car rides with no problem!
