I started using EPO back in the 80's along with the Slendernow Diet by Passwater where Passwater recommends essential oils.

With just the diet shakes and lower calories, I lost weight, but with the addition of EPO, weight loss increased dramatically and my skin cleared up as well.

EPO is much better than the linseed oil and other low quality oils that many diet shake companies used in the 80's and 90's and still recommend.

Add EPO as a supplement. You'll be glad you did!

I first heard of EPO from a lady friend who had used it for PMS. Indirectly, my friend noticed weight-loss, lessening of joint pain and improve skin.I am a male but wanted to try it. I had a long term skin condition. After 3 weeks on EPO it cleared up. I also noticed that my "love handles" became tighter and firmer. According to Dr. Passwater, this is because EPO works on the brown fat usually referred to as cellulite on women or tough fat on men.In any event, it worked.EPO is a natural vegetable oil and the only source other than mothers milk of both linoeic acid and gamma linolenic acid (GLA) These two acids, Passwater tells us, help our bodies manufacture beneficial compounds called Prostaglandins (PGs) which regulate a wide range of body functions including blood pressure and cholesterol levels.According to Dr. Passwater and many leading physicians, biochemists, laboratories and medical schools these PGs are potential sources of almost revolutionary help in the battle against a wide variety of diseases icluding cancer, diabetes, alcholism, arthritis, obesity and schizophrenia.Adding EPO to my daily nutritional regimen has made a profound impact on my weight, appearance and health. I highly recommend it.

The author promotes the book as if evening primrose is a god given cure/prevention/relief to a series of disturbing problems...however its misleading...i cant say if it has any relief to heart disease or arthritis but with acne it doesnt help at all. I had mild acne and took it for over two years and all that happened was my acne got more proggressive. If youve ever read about acne you would know its more than likely hormonal, and evening primrose has no effect whatso ever on your hormonal balance... my advice dont waste yur money on the book or epoil just go to your practioner... also what it doesnt mention is that if your on medication for acne you probably shouldnt be takeing epoil or some vitamins and minerals. If you have any problems it would be safer to talk to your practioner...thats what they are there for.
