Evening Shadows, Evening prayer and worship,

"Evening Shadows" is the sequel to "Voice Of The Wind". This album is so soothing and peaceful, it calms you down after a busy day and the music draws you in to relax and worship the Lord. It leaves you healed and refreshed before going to sleep at night.

Evening Shadows CD,

Highly recommend this CD and purchased it tonight along with a boat load of others after seeing Love Song with Chuck Girard and Chuck Smith again. Our first visit with them was when we were stationed in Germany and then again tonight at Rocky Mountain Calvary Chapel. Love those dear brothers and they're even better than when they played during the 70's Jesus People Movement! Prayers for all and for the salvation of this generation before our King's soon return. To Our King and the Restoration of ALL THINGS! I COR. 2: 9 This is incredibly anointed music by our Father, I promise you will love it. :)

Chuck at his best,

Yes I have to say that Chuck has done it again with a mellow, reflective record showing the same production noted in his previous recording. He's been writing songs for a long time and he is still passionate about the music he makes. Its clear in this album that this attitude hasn't changed and the worshipful focus of his lyrics and music are still centred around his deep love for God and his listeners.
This is an album for mellow moments and if you're looking for something rocking then perhaps you should skip this. If you want to reflect relax and think about the words being spoken then this could be the music for you. Chuck's been in the recording booth since the heydays of Lovesong and this album is a follow up to his 90's release - Voice in the Wind. He's clearly comfortable in sharing his heart over the mic and its his aim to draw the listener in. His unique style stands out from most worship albums and if you like your music gently played just check him out for yourself. I have no doubt that people who bought his other recordings will really enjoy relaxing and drinking in the stuff he's recorded in his new album. Its been a while but its a wait well spent. Perhaps he shouldn't leave it so long next time.
