I think many of you will agree with me that when you sit down to watch a concert video, you want a concert experience. I think the interviews are best kept to before and after the concert footage... not mixed in between the songs, disrupting the mood of the event. Other than the breaks in continuity, this is a great DVD. The sound is awesome, and is worthy for use as a demo disc as well as for entertainment. The video is nicely cinematic. The performance is typical Luther... sheer perfection. It is truly remarkable how his performances sound studio-perfect. Overall: a worthy archive of a masterful vocalist.

As someone who is disabled, I never seen Luther in conbcert, but I can tell you,m after watching this dvd, I felt like I have. It amazes me how one man can calm every audience, instead of all that loud stuff. When Luther sings "the Impossible Dream", you will have tears in your eyes & feel like he is singing it just for you. And let me tell you, Barbara Steisrand & Lionel richie might sing well, but when Luther sings Evergreen or Hello, mmmm mmmmm mmmmm mmmmm mmmmm mmmmmm mmmmm the best, Massy he rest in peace for ever, for always.

Luther was truely in a league of his own. His voice was like that of an angel. This music is beautiful and combine that with a beautiful voice and you have one fantastic dvd. I could watch this over and over again.

This video is excellent! I thoroughly enjoy watching this over and over. The sound is great. One disappointment is the duet with Mariah Carey has been deleted.

This is apretty good DVD but not the classic Luther. It would have been nice to see Luther the way he normally is in concert. Buy this one because it's the only Luther available on DVD.

Get your popocorn, your soda and for the more sopohisticate, your wine!!! Take a seat and prepare to be passionately entertained by one of the greatest entertainers of all time!!!

The songs that Luther has chosen to serenade us with on this video takes us Baby Boomers back to that experience in our souls that we felt way back when. Luther is looking at one of his best times (although he always looked good to me). The energy and the enthusiasm he exudes, makes you feel like you are sitting in The Royal Albert Hall enjoying the concert right there on that day! The concert is interrupted by interviews with Luther, the man himself...this is good because it allows you to go get that next glass of wine and do a few adjustments to your clothing. Plus I love the sound of his speaking voice, so I get a lot!!

The music of the orchestra is beautiful, the instrumental solos are riveting, the backup choir is very special and his back up singers are as always sensational.
Luther looks great and is as gracious as a singer can be. My heart continues to mourn his death but is comforted by his music.

I love the fact that Luther, as in all of his videos, does not mind letting you know that he truly loves his own people. No, he ain't confused about his roots!! The faces that you see in his videos are predominately black. The leading ladies in his videos were always black and you never had to wonder, "Is she or isn't she?" No you distinctively knew. His background singers are always black and of course his core audience was black.

Every song he sings in this video made me feel as if he was singing directly to me, especially his rendition of "Hello"! You just want to yell back, "Hello! Here I am Luther!" and believe that he heard you. Thank you Luther, for I loved you and still love you too.

This is a great video and should be a "must have" for Luther loving fans.

I am the biggest Luther Vandross fan in the world. I've only missed one Luther Vandross Concert in the Los Angeles area. I just wanted to be able to keep seeing Luther when I wanted and this serves the purpose.

I'm a big Luther Vandross fan and I'm very happy to be the proud owner of his live DVD. Whenever I need a Luther fix, I pop in the DVD!

I have purchased much of Luther's music and his concerts on DVD. Treat yourself before you miss the opportunity.
