5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely wonderful!, February 27, 2000

This review is from: In the Event of My Death (Mass Market Paperback)
This is the first time that I have read a book by this author and I loved it! It kept me up most of the night and believe me I made sure that my doors were locked before going to bed. I cannot wait to read her other books and only hope that they are as good as this one. I thought I knew who the killer was but was completely wrong!

5.0 out of 5 stars On the edge, December 6, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: In the Event of My Death (Mass Market Paperback)
When I read the reviews that said it was like a Mary Higgins Clark book, I had second thoughts about reading it. She just does not impress me. But, luckily I did start reading it. Throughout the book, I was litteraly on the edge of my seat. Everytime I thought I had the killer figured out, the chapter would end and I was back where I started. Ms. Thompson made you think everyone was the killer, but threw something in to change your mind. This has got to be the best "who-dunnit" books in the market. I am now starting her newest book, "Don't Close Your Eyes". Please go out and buy it. you will not be dissapointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent A++, June 11, 2000
This review is from: In the Event of My Death (Mass Market Paperback)
This book was the very first one that I have read by this Author. I LOVED IT! I think this is one of the best who did it books that I have read. I was capitaved by the story from the minute I picked up the book until the very end and I was very sad that it ended. It was amazing how this book kept me in total suspense throwing loops and curves at me the whole time. Just when I thought I had it figured out something completely different happened. To tell you the truth the beginning of the book actually scared me a little bit. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves to read. I am on my way to the bookstore to get another one of her books!
