5.0 out of 5 stars Can't Believe He's Not Huge Yet!, March 26, 2005

I have been an LA music lover and follower of Brad Byrd for the past couple years...I have seen him play incredible shows from packing the Roxy to a laid back Farmers Market show. This guy has a stage presence and voice that is second to none. His record has literaly been in my cd player for two years...and finds its way in and out of my friends collections, as well as a party fav. I have been scratching my head wondering why no one has signed him or how his music has not been discovered....well hopefully now it has....Congrats Brad...see you at the next show!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars timeless classic, March 12, 2005
This review is from: Ever Changing Picture (Audio CD)
Already B Byrd is a classic artist. I can play his tunes over and over and never tire of them. His beat, lyrics, and voice all come together for me in one of the best albums of the year. Brad has a huge career ahead of him and I am just glad to have caught this train at Stop # 1.

Brad Byrd is on his way to becoming the next big thing in singer/songwriter driven Alt Rock. The album doesn't quit from the beginning of the first track all the way through. Tunes like Factory Burn and Never Came Back rock, while songs like Earth and Feathers show the depth of Byrd's ability. Overall a can't miss album!

I first heard this album at a bar being played over the sound system. I was immediately captivated by the sound of the album and its originality. Every song on the album is very good, if not excellent. Brad Byrd has a unique sound and I can't believe his music has not caught on yet. This album is an undiscovered gem and one of my favorites.

I have owned this album for more than a year and still love its sound. Brad's lyrics are mesmorizing and his sounds are both soothing at times and rocking at other times. I highly recommend this album.

This review is from: Ever Changing Picture (Audio CD)
If you adore Coldplay, young U2, David Gray and other soulful singers, Brad Byrd is for you. His lyrics are like nothing out there today-- full of meaning and depth. He sings about love and loss, making huge life decisions like moving from the East Coast to LA to pursue his dreams, and "the ever-changing picture." Every song is worthy of being a single on the radio, especially "Gold" and "Never Came Back." and I have no doubt Brad Byrd will be heard on major radio stations in no time.
