"I Thank God for you!",

I loved, loved, loved this book! Amy loved Paul for years. She had a crush on him as a teenager, and it's now Paul's annual visit from the city (okay, maybe he came a bit more often then annual, but not much). Paul was bringing home his long-term girlfriend to meet the parents. She may very well be the woman he's going to marry.
...and he was coming home to attend Amy's engagement party. She was engaged to banker, Tim... Okay, that's about all I can say about this romantic story. I will say that like Carolyne Aarsen's first book (Homecoming), it took a while for me to get into this book...but as soon as Paul kisses...oops...I can't say anymore!!! I must say that one of my favorite scenes in this book was during the auction when Tim and Paul were bidding on the chairs. That was sooo funny!!! (And don't worry, you DO find out the final outcome to THAT ordeal!!!) I have a question...something that puzzles me near the end of the book about the "document" Paul had to discuss with Amy. I didn't really understand the point of it since they...well, you know...Anyways, I can't ask the question plainly without giving a big part of the story away so I'll leave it alone... Oh, and there ARE a couple surprises near the end. One involves Amy's parents, and the other involves Tim and Paul...I was actually more shocked at the second...And very, very pleased!!! The religious aspects in this story were absolutely perfect!
