This watering system could not have worked better. We were skeptical at first but were more than impressed by how easy it was to set up. No leaks and our six foot tree was well hydrated for the three days we were gone. It probably would have made it four to five days based on the amount of water remaining when we returned.

This simple system really works fine. We have had it set up on the tree for over a week and now have the confidence to travel. Using the basic rules of gravity and fluids, it keeps the water level in the tree balanced. No leaks, no problems at all. One tip - put a little soap on the connection point for the tube to help it get all the way on. The container is a solid piece of molded plastic - definitely better than other bag-in-a-box designs and the bow is similar to what you might put on an actual package (ribbon and sticky back). Nothing fancy here, just works.

This was the greatest gift that I ever bought myself! I no longer have to crawl under the tree to water it. The instructions were not clear to me but I did figure it out. This is a wonderful invention! It came quickly and it looks just like the picture.

We bought this tree watering system because we were going on vacation. We followed the instructions exactly as provided and when we came back the tree was totally dry. The tree was freshly cut so it should've taken the water. No water was gone from the box. Also, the ribbon is pink, not red. I would NOT recommend this product at all. Ours went straight into the garbage as returning would have been more of a hassle.

Product looked nice under the tree - just like a package. After a little trial and error on my part, product worked great - there was always water in the tree stand and I just had to add water to the box. Saved climbing under the tree every day.

Our tree stand sits 1-2 inches off floor so we had to devise a way to lift the watering system off floor too while matching the stands resevoir. This made lifting the watering system hopper more difficult and checking the stands level of water just as frustrating as without the watering system. The gift disguise was a nice idea but, I would not recommend this system.

I've been messing with this for the past 3 weeks and cannot get it to work, at any height or water level. The water does not flow from the box to the well unless I, physically, lift the box 2 feet off the ground. And only for a short time...I tried setting the box at that level and the tree well overflowed. Aesthetically, it doesn't match the picture. The ribbon is pink and the bow is not full as pictured...it's completely flat.

What a disappointment...this will be the first product I've ever returned to Amazon.

Dont get this product I got this thinking it would do what I wanted water the tree but nope it boes not so I wouldnt get this if I were you

It's just out of the box and working great so far. Easy to set up. This year hoping not to dry the tree out right away using this gadget.

The photo is not accurate, but the device works as advertised. As another reviewer states, the bottom of the device must be at or slightly above the bottom of the tree stand. I had to find a box with the right height to place beneath the device in order to elevate it appropriately - so the device will probably not rest directly on your floor, as shown in the photo. With regard to the "kinked hose" that is mentioned in the "most negative" review - this is not an issue. The hose does not arrive kinked, but it is tightly wound, which is the only reason why I am not giving this device a 4-star rating. As long as the hose is not actually kinked it can have as many loops in it as you like - the water still flows through it. I recommend a tag-team approach to the initial set-up with one person monitoring the water level in the stand and the other moving the device up (to get the water flowing through the tube and into the stand) and then back down (to make it stop and then level off). It is working perfectly and I like the way it looks under the tree. I, too, can see us using this for many years to come.
