This is an excellent book for just about everyone. It includs a quick, detailed summary of how a ship more than 100 tons lifts of the ground. It answeres many questions and is fun to read. You will get your money's worth out of this one.

3.0 out of 5 stars To th point, September 16, 2005
This review is from: All You Ever Wanted to Know about Flying: The Passenger's Guide to How Airliners Fly (Paperback)
This small book really covers all the points in "passengers" language.
After reading it the passenger is able to appreciate the complexities of putting some 250 tons ii the air , having it hurtle at more than 600mph and more important , stay up and land in one piece.
