These flashlights are great. I have been doing facilities maintenance for an educational program for over 10 years. A major part of this job is unclogging and repairing drains, performing minor electrical repairs, etc. I rely on my Eveready Industrial flashlight all the time. They are very rugged, produce a bright long lasting light and are comfortable to hold. The on and off switch is firm and resides in a shallow plastic trough which greatly reduces the chances of it being inadvertently turned on in your tool box. How many times have you gone to use a flashlight whose batteries are dead because the unit was accidentally turned on? For the price, these flashlights can't be beat!

This lamp has been engineered to withstand abuse. It is a very basic flashlight, except for the heavy duty construction. Has stood the test ot my two year old, who wanted his own flashlight.
