I got this flashlight mostly because of its ability to just sit flat/right down on a surface if you are not using it. But it is also a fantastic, sturdy flashlight for everyday use or during power outages. The swivel head is a great bonus, and it has a nice, bright beam. I wish the batteries lasted a bit longer, but other than that, I can highly recommend it. Rechargeable batteries would actually solve the only negative with this flashlight. I wouldn't hesitate to get another.

This is a regular flashlight with a swivel head. Black & Decker makes one for about half the price and it has more cushion rubber on it.
