Great bag! I literally stuffed it a my families clothing, shoes, and toiletries. I had to squeeze it and zip it up and the zipper held on. I've had cheap bags and the zipper will break for sure with the stuffing I did.. Great bag. Looks great but most important it's STURDY!

Not impressed! We bought this duffle to move my son's clothes into his university dorm, and it will not be able yo be used again. It was not over-packed, pulled, or otherwise abused yet the metal clasps on the louder strap broke then the zipper broke (failed to unzip).

Decent build quality and can fit a ton of stuff. Like maybe 5 regular duffel bags worth. The only problem is that the metal loops that the strap attaches to are just bent wire, and they constantly unbend and cause the strap to break off. This is particularly infuriating because this bag weighs 50 pounds or more when it's full of gear, so the strap is essential to carry it without extreme awkwardness.

While the size of this bag is exactly what i wanted and its construction was adequate for my purposes, the coating on the inside of the bag was totally toxic. Airing it out did not help one little bit. If you are even remotely sensitive to chemical odors, don't even think about this bag as you will be returning it post haste.

I went on a camping-type vacation and needed to pack about 40-50 lbs worth of things into this bag to check it into my airline.

The Good:
- This bag is HUGE! Was able to hold two sleeping bags, a small cooler and a bunch of food!

The Bad:
- Just like a previous review had pointed out, the metal rings that the shoulder strap clamps onto is useless. It will not support anything more than 40 lbs. Actually, it might even support less because I had 40 lbs or stuff and the metal rings bent and the strap tore away. I would probably not trust this shoulder strap/metal ring for anything above 25-30 lbs.
- The actual material of the bag is very thin. When I retrieved my bag at the baggage claim, there were several holes in the bag. One of the main holes was from the hand straps when someone tried to drag the bag and the thing just ripped open. On my return flight, several more holes had appeared from just normal airline handling. My other bag that I checked (not this brand) was 100% fine.

But overall, the bag was only about ~$25 bucks and even though the shoulder strap was useless and there are several large holes in my bag from regular handling, I will give it three stars. It got my stuff from point A to point B -- exactly what I needed it for. Maybe if you were only going to pack about 25 lbs of things into this bag, it would be perfect for you. I will now use this bag as my sleeping bag/winter blanket storage, because it is no longer fit for travel.

this is a very large bag! it seems to be well made.I needed it to put all my tools and equipment together in the back of my jeep and this certainly does the job.I got the black bag so my things no longer are on display to passerby.all for 20.00 bucks.what a deal.

This bag would be great for car camping. It holds an amazing amount of gear. I'm not sure it is strong enough to stand up to rough handling on airlines trips. The price is right if you want a bag this size. It fits our purpose.

The duffel is ok. It is VERY big which is exactly what I wanted but the quality of the material and the zipper are not the highest. I don't expect this bag to last a lifetime so I gave it 4 stars...

I got this to put basic camping gear (tent/sleeping bag/pad), a couple changes of clothes, and toiletries for a 3-day bike ride. The bag was not stuffed full, nor were these items particularly dense or heavy. However, the clasp on one end of the strip snapped in two on the second day. Some creative wedging made the bag usable again, however upon arriving home the other end of the strap came loose because the metal part attached to the bag bent open and let loose. The bag itself is OK--fabric and seams are a little sketchy for the size, but they at least didn't fail immediately. Having had an Everest backpack in the past, though, I was fairly disappointed overall. I wouldn't really recommend this unless you're planning to fill it with feathers or bubble wrap or something comparably low density.
