The instructions state that you must place the mouth piece in a pot of boiling water for exactly 12 seconds then immediately remove the mouth guard from the pot only to then place it in another pot, this time with cold water for exactly 2 seconds. Now if you happen to by the grace of god been fast enough to accomplish these things, you now have to quickly put the thing in your mouth and clamp down on it before it cools too much and hardens. Who comes up with this idiotic design? My attempt at the instructions didn't even make it past the first step because the moment I dropped it in the boiling pot it immediately glued/molded itself to the bottom of the pot from the intense heat.I was not expecting this at all as the instructions did not warn for it. Now that it was essentially fixed to the bottom of the pot there was no way in hell I was getting it out of there before the twelve seconds were up. By the time I got it out, it was completely distorted/melted. Spend your money elsewhere.
