Everlast Professional Speedbag Swivel

Our speed bag platform came with the standard cheap Everlast swivel with the "s" hook and white plastic bearing. The original swivel is garbage at best, as the bag unscrews itself immediately making use of the product impossible. It is shameful that Everlast manufactures the plastic swivel. We just upgraded the swivel to the Everlast Professional. The difference is like night and day. We can now use the speed bag for its intended purpose. One slight problem is the difficulty of changing bags as it attaches by a bicycle type chain link. (Instructions not included with product).

Works well. Much faster than the "cheap" metal swivel that has only the hook. If you don't have a wealth of speed-bag experience, be prepared to "re-learn" when you upgrade to this swivel.

This swivel is my first so I'm kind of bias but based on all the 4 and 5 star rave reviews I figured I'd try it. I sure am glad I did... as should you if you're thinking about it. The only catch is how to put on/ replace a bag... but look it up on the internet and you'll see it's easy... all you need is a pair of needle nose pliers.

This is a tremendous improvement over the cheap plastic ball loaded swivel that comes standard on the speedbag platform. Once everything is mounted, be prepared for smoother, more responsive, and faster performance. Your speed and control will immediately skyrocket. Take it from an avid boxer, it's ok to go cheap on the platform, as well as on a so-so bag but do yourself a huge favor and upgrade to this swivel if you are serious about sharpening your skills on the speed bag.

I bought this swivel because the one that came with my Everlast Speedbag Kit was worthless. it is a round moulded plastic ball with a metal hook screwed into it. Problem is, when you hit the speed bag a few times- the hook unscrews from the plastic ball- and the bag went flying!!!. Get this one- it works great. very easy to install- no problem. Worth the money. Trust me.

Its nice, smooth and cheap. I went from a plastic ball and socket swivel to this, and the improvement was definitely noticeable. If you have the same kind of swivel I used to have, then I recommend upgrading to this. However, if you're expecting it to be quieter then you will be disappointed.

Great swivel action, tough construction, easy to remove for adding air to your speed bag. Worth the price.

highly recommend this vs the traditional hook assembly. the only problem is getting the "latch" off to hook up the speed bag. you will need a link wrench or a needle nose pliers. this does not come with instructions how to do this, go on to the web and you will see many entries on how to do this. other than that one issue it is a very nice complement to traditional hooks.

This product was easy to install, came with all the hardware and is builti to last, I should never have to change the swivel again.

im a beginner at speedballing so i cant compare to other swivels but this one seems to work great. there is no slack in the swivel no up and down movement. it also comes with bolts to hang it. i am very happy with it.
