I bought these gloves based on the reviews, but they were a disappointment and I wound up giving them away after using them only a few times. I never thought I had really big hands before, but these were impossible to put on without help and the padding was too thin in places. My wrist and thumb occasionally hurt during a heavy bag workout. I switched to (more expensive) 16oz gloves with velcro wrist openings which are much, much better.
Bottom line: these gloves are good for children or people with very small hands.

I've used these things on the heavy bag for 6 months now and they are great. I mainly swing on the bag with power punches so I put the spurs to these things and they aren't falling apart. I don't think they'll last forever but for the price, 6+ months is not half bad. The wrists can be wrapped really tight and you have to take a second to get your hand in but without using wraps I figure this is the next best thing. Your wrists should be ok if you are paying attention to what you are doing or have had instruction, but without wraps you can hurt yourself. These things aren't going nowhere once they're on. They're not very pretty or have fancy logos (besides the wrist), they're just black. If you want over priced tapout or hyubyasa (sp?) then fork out another 50 bucks on top of this price. Besides boxing is not about looking pretty you pansy.

These gloves are your typical large boxing gloves. They have a good deal of heft and appear to be of good quality. They are a little hard to get on your hands without someone to help you, and they do get very hot when you are using them. This is my second pair of boxing gloves and I am enjoying them for the price.

I wear a size xl mma style glove and these were totally too small for me to even put on.

My 15 year old son wanted these for Christmas and he has really enjoyed them, even though he doesn't truly get into boxing, he has a blast with them and they're made really well. :)

Awesome gloves! Perfect for heavy bag workouts! Very happy with this purchase. Lots of padding so your knuckles do not get too busted up and the wrist wraps are a great feature also.

Sub-par manufacturing. I'm not sure if this is really made by Everlast. Within the third day of boxing training the seam ripped and the filling started to fall out. Also, the left glove thumb was sewed incorrectly as it was at an angle that was never comfortable. I would not purchase again.
