3.0 out of 5 stars Got the wrong size, May 4, 2011
This review is from: Everlast Black Mixed Martial Arts Shin Guards (Sports)
I am 5'8' and 150lbs. I find that usually medium gear and clothing fits me best, so I thought I'd try the S/M. Bad choice. These are too small for me. The shin pad is only about 10 inches long and the top strap barely makes it around my calf. The lower pad covers my instep well, leaving my toes exposed, but I have small feet(size 9 shoe). I am going to return these and get a larger size. Other than that these seem decent. The pad is pretty stiff in front and soft on the back. The straps are heavy spandex with a good amount of velcro. They don't seem quite as sturdy as Twins shin guards, but they are about $20 cheaper. Hopefully a new pair of size L/XL will hold up in practice.
