Everlast may be the best in Boxing products, but it would be nice if they build a better product for this. I read the reviews and was hoping with a little direction to my very athletic 5 year old boy he would be careful. I did the best I could. He received this last night for his birthday and not 12 hours later he comes crying in his boxing gloves saying how sorry he was... I went to see what was wrong and the bottom had busted and water was all over the floor. I told him not to worry about it. He told me he just hit it too hard. I'm returning to Amazon for a replacement. Truly he is disappointed and so am I. I'd expect a better product. This is a piece of crap. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because he really had fun with it.
11/30/10: this is a follow-up to the review posted above. I lowered my rating from two stars to one star. This product is really not any good. It is majorly flawed. I did not listen to the poor reviews. Anyway, the first one broke as I mentioned above. I sent it back and Amazon was nice enough and sent me a new one at no expense to me. Well, within a day and a half the second one broke too also with water all over the floor. It is really too bad as my son truly enjoyed this, but it's no good. Do not buy. Everlast should be ashamed of itself for putting a product of this quality on the market.

If you are looking for aerobic exercise or are limited by space. This punching bag will work well, for the money. Since it is inflatable, the bag is not made for hard punches, but more for technique and get that heart rate up. In my family everyone from a 3 years old to a 40+ has used it and they have enjoyed it.

I should have followed the advice of other recommendations. This punching bag seemed great the first couple of days, and my 10 year old loved it. However, in less than a week the bag deflated and was no longer usable after a couple of friends used it. Save your money and buy something a bit sturdier.
