4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty decent, needs a better wriststrap
I've used these for a while now, and they seem to be holding up well. Only complaint is I wish it had a velcro adjustable wriststrap to really lock them on to your hands. I find myself constantly having to re-adjust them since there's no adjustment available.

3.0 out of 5 stars Impossible to fix on hand firmly.
My previous mitts are much cheaper than these Everlast MMA Punch Mitts but my previous were more comfortable due to adjustable hand velcro.
These just keep moving, so I have to adjust again after a couple of punches.

Just a cheap fixing strap could make this a good product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent...for the money., June 27, 2008
This review is from: Mixed Martial Arts Punch/kick Mitt - Mens (Sports)
Just ordered 2 of these and they are pretty good, as punch mits go. About 12 x 12 and big enough to hide large size hands. You usually get what you pay for, but in this case, you might be getting the better end of the deal. I would like to have had adjustable wrist straps, but the padded ones on the back provide adiquate grip. The "glove" can be worn on either hand. But we will see after several months of punching/kicking, I might have to order and replace.

These are great for my female kickboxing class. They fit great on small hands.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good except for one problem..., January 22, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These mitts seem to work well, there definitely harder than I predicted but good for your opponent to swing at you with a quick motion. It would be better if there was a velcro strap but overall not a bad fit for my hands. I'm 19 160 lbs, so fits well. Only problem is they are SOLD INDIVIDUALLY...i should have read the description better but the one I received is good quality so I'll order another. Also, the logo is a little different than the pictures posted, it has an E on the front and says everlast on the backside above the finger holes on upper left.

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid product, needs a tweaking., October 26, 2011

I bought this several months ago for practicing accuracy in MMA, and the pad is sturdy as ever after weekly use since May.
My only complaint is that the grip on the back is way too loose. I practice with my brother, and we are both over 6'4" tall with big hands, and neither of us can get a solid grip on this thing. Apparently they used Andre the giant's hand as a template because the finger grips are so loose it is a constant strain to hold the pad steady.
Aside from the grip problem, it is a solid buy and very useful for training.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good padding but loose fit, September 6, 2011
This review is from: Mixed Martial Arts Punch/kick Mitt - Mens (Sports)
The problem I found with those mitts is that whoever designed them did not make any difference between
the place for the pinky and the thumb (so they can be used indifferently on both hands). As a result, there
is a loose grip on both mitt. Except that the padding is appropriate and absorbs hits pretty well.
Good packaging and fast delivery.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not the best but not bad., June 30, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The mitts are not the same as pictured. There are no front images. The material used inside the mitts isn't that great. It feels cheap and too hard when punching it. It feels like it is the white foam that's used in some packaging.

For the price, they are good mitts.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Decent Product, June 15, 2011

This mitts really tough, so if you're looking for something softer, this isn't your product.

But what I love about it is its durability and weight. I not only punch but I kick this mitt. Hard.

Also, this mitt allows you to be a bit more "speedier". I've had guards that are bulky and I cant really move around with them. Its really light for its level of toughness, which means whoever's holding it (or them) up can block or assault quicker, which in turn really helps the person dealing blows to train in speed punching.

The only downside I'd have to say..would be the part you actually put your hand into. Its made to be worn by either a left or right hand, which is great..except you notice it. The leather sometimes is a bit annoying when you want to break it into the shape of different hands. If you wear it for a long time you'll be better off, but at first you'll feel it kind of bending your fingers.

I recommend buying two of these if you have the money.

4.0 out of 5 stars Comes with only ONE mit, April 15, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Mixed Martial Arts Punch/kick Mitt - Mens (Sports)
Good product all around. seemed to be of good quality. But I didn't test it though because I missed all the subtle clues that there was only ONE mitt in the package. I had planned to work with some buddies that night, but I returned it in order to get a SET of mitts.
