Seems to be holding up very well.

And (B) ignore the value of strong rubber washes, which would stop the metal being eroded when the screws are continually tightened.

It can slide very slightly on a wood floor, if you really whack it around, but in general, it's very stable.

I bought this bag because a "real" heavy bag is very difficult to hang, I don't really have room for a bag stand, and I didn't want to tear up my ceiling. My biggest concern with this bag was stability. I was afraid that it would be wobbling all around the floor. To my surprise, it hasn't moved an inch. I'm not a professional mind you, I just use this for after work haymaker sessions to let off some steam. The omniflex feature does a great job of keeping the base in place without having too much give. With heavy hitting, it flexes at about 30-40 degrees and pops back really fast. It's hit me in face more than once I'm ashamed to say.

I'm 6'4 and the bag is obviously shorter than me, but it doesn't feel unnatural. At its highest setting, it is about the height of most of the people I dislike, so it works out.

The padding is much softer than a standard heavy bag, but you will still want to use gloves. My only gripe, and it is minor, is that the padding has worn down quicker than I had hoped. I strike it at roughly the same height most of the time and the padding at that height became visibly indented or compressed, all the way around after just a month or so. Maybe that could be fixed by removing the padding and mushing it about, but I haven't tried that yet. Overall though, this is one of my better impulse buys.

Edit: BROKEN - I work in IT where I spend 8 hours a day behind a desk and I have the physique to match. So believe me when I say that if I was able to break this thing, then you don't want it. After less than a year, the plastic tube that holds the bag itself to the base snapped. As I mentioned in my review, I only used this to blow off steam after work. I never bent it down for knee strikes or did anything out of the ordinary.

I have had the bag for a month now and it is standing up very well. It is one of the best fitness tools I have ever purchased. I am middle aged and needed a piece of fitness equipment that was not going to be boring and wind up in some corner of the room. Practicing jabs and upper cuts is a lot of fun. Pounds are dropping from my waist weekly with all the punching and twisting. Put on your favorite music and you are good to go.

Great bag get good exercise with it and have used it quite a bit since I got it. They say sand or water, but I would recommend sand since it is heavier. When I am mad enough I hit the bag so hard it will come off the ground and start to tip. Since I switched to sand this has not happened :D

My husband wanted this for Christmas. He has a black belt and wanted it for kicks, knee and punching. He likes that it is flexible. It was quite a job filling with sand because you have to tip it up for the sand to flow into the small tubs that lead to the main sand chamber. Took him 45 minutes to fill. The rest of the assembly was easy.

I love this bag so much I bought one for my brother and my brother in law and they both love it as well. I'm 6'4" and 250 and very strong and this bag had stood up to what I have dished out. One tip, I like to keep it on the lower setting so it comes back quicker for faster punching. This probably also helps to lesson the damage to the bag.

i filled the base with water and its leaking. i havent even put it together yet because im so irritated. sending it back is going to be a pain in the neck so i might as well take a trip to Home Depot and fix it myself. HOWEVER, i shouldnt have to after i paid good money for the equipment. im severely disappointed.

I haven't knock it over once do to the omniflex thing. Only thing I hate is that it was not made to put sand in it. Took me 2 and a half hours just to get 125 pounds in it. It hold 200 pounds, but it holds up with what I got in it.

I bought this online based on the reviews, never having seen it in a store. I must say, I am really, really pleased! As a middle aged woman, 5'2, this delivers a great at home work out. My husband set it up in the basement. He filled the base with 100lbs of play sand purchased at Lowes ( 2 fifty pound bags). The easiest way to fill the base with sand is by tilting the base and using a plastic cup ( he used a 28 oz yogurt container) that you squeeze and pour from, rather than a funnel. It took about 30 minutes or so to fill. It took about another 15 minutes to assemble the poles, fit the bag on, etc. The base is large and sturdy, but doesn't prevent you from getting up close to tue bag. At it's lowest height setting, the bag is still a bit challenging for me to kick box with. I wish it could be lowered about another 2 inches, but that is just me and my height.. I bought Everlast 14oz gloves to use ( sold separately) as well. I realize that I'm not a burly guy who boxes with experience, but hopefully you find my review helpful if you're interested in home workouts and just starting out with boxing and/or kickboxing.
