5.0 out of 5 stars What can you say about a piece of foam?
Got it, like it. The Velcro straps are attached to the mat and it came with a fish net carry bag. The foam doesn't smell and is the type that should hold up under use. It is more of an exercise mat than a thin yoga mat. I like it, good value.

3.0 out of 5 stars great for situps, bad for anything else
I received this mat and loved it at first, mostly because I just used to for only situps. But now I have moved on to doing yoga and exercises involving motions and this mat does not cut it. Through every move in yoga or motions this mat stretches out from underneath of you and you lose your pose and then get bad form from it. Another problem that I have with this mat is...

I'm surprised by how soft it truly is. It does the job - didn't have to spend too much on it, either.

I'll sign back on and describe how durable it is after using it for more than a few months.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect, February 18, 2009

This mat is perfect for doing my p90x workouts. It is especially convenient with the attached velcro straps and the included mesh bag. The price is great too, you won't find a better mat for the price.

Through every move in yoga or motions this mat stretches out from underneath of you and you lose your pose and then get bad form from it. Another problem that I have with this mat is that if you get the smallest tear possible in it, it will continue stretching and tearing more and more. So my final though is just get it for only using it to do situps or an exercise required no motions at all.

Doesn't smell, rolls up easy, straps work well, laid out pretty flat, nice soft foam.

Recommended buy for fence sitters.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Big Difference, December 28, 2008

Recommended. Immediate difference between plush carpet and mat. My bunions and knees were not in pain, which allowed for a complete workout.

Was purchased as a jumping mat for jump roping and really absorbs impact. Feels good barefooted, while doing sit-ups and yoga.

Very thick and cushiony. Excellent for those with back and knee problems, allows lying on the floor for stretching.

This is the perfect mat. It's thick enough to be comfortable yet light

and easy to carry and it stays flat.

5.0 out of 5 stars Right Thickness For How I Work Out, March 15, 2009

This review is from: Everlast Roll up Exercise Mat (Sports)
I purchased this mat because I was tried of the hard carpeted floor. This mat works well for my workouts, abs, situps, pushups etc. It rolls up and stores nicely in its own carring pouch. For a small condo this is what I need because I refuse to give up a whole room for a workout that I only perform three times a week. For the heavy/bulky workout equipment I can go to the gym. Just what I needed.

3.0 out of 5 stars It's an "ok" mat, October 28, 2008

This is not the best mat, but it does the job.

I have no idea why the other mats are expensive! It's just rubber!!!

Anyway, this one is good for Abs and BodyPump training because of the thickness, but for Yoga you might want to consider a thinner mat.
