This CD is rich in sound with a flow that's expected of the artist. Cece's vocals are clear and powerful, her ballads calm and peaceful. This CD offers everything you're looking to hear all in one. My favorite song is "Everlasting Love," the acoustics and other special effects really got my attention. Every song on this CD is worth hearing over and over again. You won't have to worry about buying this CD and only liking one song. If you enjoyed "Alone In His Presence" then you'll enjoy adding this one to your music collection. She has outdone herself yet again. From fast to slow beats, Cece proves again that she's truly a minister of God's music.

I've had this cd since it was first released and it is still as poignant now as it was then. That's the great thing about CeCe's music; it never grows old or tired. "Well, Alright" is easily the standout track on this cd and one of my personal favorites. Other highlights include, "What About You", "Everlasting Love", "Come on Back Home", "Just Come" and "On That Day" (w/Lauryn Hill in the background).
Let me not forget, "The Wind"...a beautiful song I've heard somewhere before, I think by a country singer. Nonetheless, it's great with CeCe's vocals as well. If you're tired of the contemporary gospel artists who try too hard to appeal to the younger demographic, pick up this cd, you won't be disappointed.

I wasn't initially a big CeCe Winan fan at first, and my policy for buying record is that I have to like at least three singles in order for me to buy a whole album. And boy was I in for a surprise. I came across 3 of the songs, not knowing that 2 of them were CeCe Winans songs. It just didn't sound like her style of singing TO ME when I initially heard the songs. But when I heard the third song, my favorite cut "I AM" and the radio announcer say it was CeCe, I was a beliver then!!! All through the summer of '98, that is all I was pumping in my car, and my brother who wasn't saved at the time, jumped on it. It took me almost a whole month before I got off the first side of the tapes because the songs were so uplifting. CeCe's voice soars through the cuts. The songs just speaks of the high and lows of living a saved life. The real feelings that you experience of striving to live a holy life before God. And with a encouraging word to let you know that everything is going to be Alright, because we have a loving God who is there to keep us through it all. I've been a CeCe fan ever since. God truly used her in this recording.

This release quickly became one of my all-time favorites, and to date is the only recording I have ever recommended! There's such a rich mixture of smooth and upbeat melodies, all with lyrics that are inspirational and provoke serious soul searching. Add to that, the fact that CeCe sings with such feeling that it adds a depth and warmth that's unique. And to top that off, she gives you several more than the customary number of tracks, enhancing the overall purchase value. This is a rare find. Obtain it for yourself, and be blessed!

I purchased both Everlasting Love and Alabaster Box and they are both such a blessing, but Everlasting Love has got to be the most well done album. You have more of a variety of slow worship songs as well as your more upbeat songs. My favourites are "I AM" and "ON THAT DAY". CeCe keep making these anointed albums!.

CeCe has not managed to put out a project that I did not cherish! This particular tape was given to me as a gift three years ago and because it used to be basically the only tape that I played in my car, it broke. That's how much I loved it. Her back up singers Duwane and Tiff are personal friends of mine (OC) and I know that they are annointed singers. She is also a close friend of my pastor, Whintley Phipps. She can't go wrong because she is lead by the Spirit and she keeps good company! I'm blessed by all she does.

I have ALL of Cee Cee's Music - and all of them are awesome - but this one is not only AWESOME - but truly anointed, powerful, and well worth the investment. There are some CD's that you purchase - then there are those YOU invest, cause you CAN EXPECT a RETURN! Cee Cee's EVERLASTING LOVE is EVERLASTING! Thanks Cee Cee - Keep holding up the Banner! It's one thing to have an ability to sing, but it is nothing to have an ANOINTING to sing. It is that anointing that has destroyed yokes in the lives of people. May His anointing continue to rest upon your life as you stay "In His Presence."

I just cannot understand why this phenomenal CD is no longer in print. They should put it back on the market in exchange for any of the vulgar/trashy CD's being published today.

But let's focus on the wonder that is Cece's music. Every time I listen to this CD it just sounds better and better. That's the benchmark of true quality music: you don't get tired of it. It ENDURES. It draws you in with something new and remarkable that you didn't notice before.

Prime example of an enduring song: "Slippin'." Cece speaks to anyone who has ever struggled with sin (which is all of us) as she truly MINISTERS with the compelling lyrics and stellar vocal performance. Even though I'm no musician, I find myself swinging and singing along to this one. "Take off the mask with me. I see your heart, it's hurting..."

Then there's the one that hooks you in as soon as the CD opens, "Well, Alright." What a fun song with an awesome message, "Faith is the only thing that you can count on...love is the only key that opens every door!" Amen!

The title track is dripping raindrops of beauty along with the warm & welcoming "What About You." I listen to this music every day in my car on the way to work, and it calms and refreshes me. When I feel blue, I am so blessed that I can turn on a Cece Winans album and feel uplifted. God bless this anointed woman...please keep singing for us!
