5.0 out of 5 stars CCM's Newest Sensation!!!
Everlife is a group of three sisters, Julia, Amber and Sarah Ross, who are bound to take the CCM world by storm with their self-titled debut CD. While comparisons to Zoegirl and Barlowgirl are readily apparent, Everlife has a sound all their own that combines hook-driven hard-rock with more gentle pop moments. The girls' voices as well as their songwriting are top notch...

3.0 out of 5 stars i don't think so
Contrary to what another person wrote, about them being a "cheap imitation of Zoegirl" I would have to disagree. I haven't listen to a lot of their stuff but I was pleasantly surprised. They are a little more rocky, and deeper voices. I was very glad they could sing better then ZG. I have the ZG Cds but I don't really listen to them. If you like things like krystal...

5.0 out of 5 stars CCM's Newest Sensation!!!, September 3, 2004

Everlife is a group of three sisters, Julia, Amber and Sarah Ross, who are bound to take the CCM world by storm with their self-titled debut CD. While comparisons to Zoegirl and Barlowgirl are readily apparent, Everlife has a sound all their own that combines hook-driven hard-rock with more gentle pop moments. The girls' voices as well as their songwriting are top notch throughout the album leaving one asking for more. Their lyrics are definitely uplifting and evangelically focused as well.
Standout tracks include "I'm Over It", "Take A Ride" (which features guest vocals from Petra's John Schlitt), "Set Me Free" and the album's first single "Evidence" which is already getting a ton of airplay throughout the nation.
Everlife definitely has released a stunning debut disc. After listening to it, there is ample proof that these three siblings are onto something spectacular.
An extremely powerful debut!!

5.0 out of 5 stars "Take a ride" with Everlife!, April 14, 2005

Since Zoegirl has returned to its more poppy roots, Christian rock fans have found themselves hungering for pop/rock music with a harder edge. The emergence of Everlife, a surprisingly talented trio of sisters, is the answer to such prayers.

Where Zoegirl pops, Everlife rocks--hard. Things get off to a rollicking start with "Heaven Open Your Eyes," a Radio Disney smash hit that praises God alongside swaggering blues guitar and crashing bass line. "Take a Ride" continues the fun, urging listeners to ignore naysayers and "run with the Holy Ghost." In "I'm Over It," catchy pop melodies mix with sunny lyrics to create a fun song about forgiveness. "Set Me Free" bounces through a rocking chorus that celebrates being born again.

The soaring "Evidence," perhaps the album's strongest song, asks listeners to "trust what they can't see." The tune also reveals Everlife's ability to perform slower-paced ballads with equal ease. "Save Me" is a plea for daily redemption; "Lead the Way" implores God to lead His believers down the right path. "Angels Cry," the album's closing track, is a surprisingly gentle song about the desire to see humanity even in God's winged creations.

The answer is clear: Turn to Zoegirl for meaningful pop tunes. For a harder edge, Everlife is the answer.

A Kid's Review

Everlife is a great Christian band of three sisters. They have a great harmony and cool songs. They are different than most other pop girl groups because of the lyrics. In Angels Cry, they say, " When you cry, 'cause it hurts, it doesn't mean that you're not heard. Because aloud in heaven, the angels cry with you..." Really true!!! This CD is recomanded for any christian or nonchristian looking for some great music!

5.0 out of 5 stars This CD ROCKS for the Lord, March 20, 2005

If you like the sound of Pat Benetar or Evanescence with lyrics that are God honoring, you'll LOVE this cd. I found it by accident, and bought it without ever hearing them before. My kids and I can't get enough. It has a bit of an edgy rock feel, with wonderful harmonies like Barlow Girl. It is a little less pop that BarlowGirl, though.

The lyrics appeal to those who have been hurt or wounded, and acknowledges the pain, but offers hope in the Lord. Give it a listen here at Amazon and you'll want it for your collection.

I just saw these girls in concert. Took my daughter along and we had a great time. My daughter is 4 and was dancing and clapping the whole time. During the intermission, they were meeting fans and signed their CD for my daughter. I think its great to see talented young people serving the Lord this way and making themselves positive role models. Their music is great and they are extremely talented.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply perfect!, January 8, 2005
This review is from: Everlife (Audio CD)
Everlife is great, and their debut self-titled CD certainly shows it! Their music is rock/pop Christian. My favorite songs from their CD are Lead The Way, Save Me, and Angels Cry, although they are all absolutely amazing! Sarah, Amber, and Julia have wonderful voices that reflect the songs well. These girls are certain to become a hit!

5.0 out of 5 stars Rowdier than I expected, but good., December 27, 2006
This review is from: Everlife (Audio CD)
When I see on the cover three beautiful women like sisters Amber, Sarah, and Julia Ross, I was expecting a beautiful sounding women's trio, not unlike Wilson Phillips. This is a very rowdy, rocking project, but it is good. Petra's John Schlitt lends a guest vocal to "Take A Ride", and he just blends in with the group; I didn't pick up his vocal at first, until I knew he joined the ladies. My favorite songs on the project were "Heaven Open Your Eyes", "Evidence", "Save Me", "Even When", and "Getting Closer".
