Pop music lives and breathes in Raleigh! Hooray for NMS!!, March 11, 1999

There have been two great pop moments for me in the past year or so. One was hearing this "I believe in faries" song via some scratchy sounding computer file recording. The other was hearing the beginning of NMS's new album "Everloving Spark" via a scratchy sounding tape someone gave me. The record is FULL of great moments. It doesn't pretend to be anything other than a bunch of youngsters playing and singing their lives. I love how touching the vocals/backing vocals come across. To me, it's much more original and ballsy when someone presents an idea that is likely to bring them some jeers and taunts than for 4 or 5 dudes to strap on some low slung guitars and act they got something they don't. NMS has the goods. It makes me happy. I highly recommend it.

NMS, very good music, November 28, 1999

This CD has this fantastic tone that can keep you listening for hours at a time. NMS use many various techniques and instroments to prove their versatility, so i recommend if you like good music, that you get "everloving spark"
