I checked the reviews of this product with Amazon after seeing an infomercial on TV. Reviews were good so made my purchase. I buy and cook for only 2 in our household and in the past, by the time we got close to finishing our fresh produce purchases, they had spoiled. Not so with these fabulous bags! For example, after 12 days, romaine was still as crisp as the day we bought it. Same with fresh strawberries, grapes, tomatoes, etc. I'll use these bags again and again!! We're saving money and are using ALL the produce we purchase.

A lot of the produce I bought used to lose its appetizing freshness and then often spoil before I could eat it -- discouraging. With Evert Fresh bags I can keep a good variety of produce on hand all the time and very seldom have any spoilage. They keep fruits and vegetables fresh & tasty MUCH longer and have helped me improve the quality of my diet significantly. For me, they more than pay for themselves both in food dollars saved and, more importantly, in health. Hint: I always make a tiny rip in the top of each bag as I empty it so that I can keep track of how many times it has been used. Each bag can be reused about 10 times.

These bags are terrific, they do just what they are intended to do, extend the freshness of vegetables! as an example, I saved Cilantro for 3 weeks in one of these bags, what I did was wash it under cold water, remove alot of the water after rinsing and wrapped the stems with a damp paper towel, place in the bag and fold over the top of the bag, it is that easy! I have been using these bags for over 2 years now, that is how long the bags last, as you can reuse them over and over for atleast 10 times, so the value is there, you will not be sorry with this product!

I would like to rate this product 5 stars. This is the first time that I used this fresh bag and it really makes your fruit and vegetables fresh for a long time. I have my tomatoes, celery, carrots, etc. wrapped in this bag and it will stay fresh for more than two weeks. I would like everybody to try this product and you will not regret it.

I have used these bags for at least three years and they are great ! They keep my salad greens fresh for days and the peppers really last in these bags. The bananas don't turn brown so fast. I highly recommend this product for your produce, you will not be disapointed.

These bags are wonderful. They work for everything from lettuce to bananas. Wash and dry produce before putting in bags. If concerned about mositure on items like lettuce, put a paper towel in the bag. Works in the refrigerator and on the counter top, depending on the produce.

You save money because you really can keep produce until you're ready to use it, within reason of course. My husband and I belong to a CSA and can't always use our share each week. With Evert-Fresh that ceased to be a problem.

These bags can be washed and reused many times.

i have used the green-bag produce bag product for years (Evert-Fresh brand, not the Debbie-Meyer) and have always had good results. i use the bags until they wear out, regardless of whether it is 10 uses or not (how can you keep track anyway?). i never use it for bananas which i store on a banana hanger away from light and well-ventilated.

i was frustrated by the Home Naturals product description "10 of each size". well, which sizes? how many sizes? i could only find out by purchasing the item - i was disappointed that it was 2 sizes (Small and Medium, no less) total 20, NOT 3 (including the Large) total 30. so i have to shop elsewhere for the Large bags. buyer beware!

This has worked great with lettuce, herbs that I let dry awhile before putting in the bag, peppers. But, I had a cut cucumber in one and it rotted quite quickly. The uncut cuke did not rot. The cut peppers also did not rot, so I guess it depends on the vegetable.

Also, I stored some limes in a fruit basket in a bag and my impression is they rotted more quickly than if I had just let them sit.

But they are definitely worth it for lettuce and fresh herbs.

These were OK in the fridge, but as far as keeping anything fresh for extended periods outside the fridge. Don't put too much faith in the commercial on TV. And as far as keeping anything fresh for "up to 30 days"; forget it. In my experience in the fridge 8 or 9 days tops. out of the fridge 5, maybe 6 days.

I purchased and used with the green discs. Even a sliced tomato kept it's freshness overnight. Originally, I was skeptical that the products would perform so well since they were not more readily available in stores. Boy, was I wrong.

They are the best thing since sliced bread!
