Ah, the lack of excellence in young adult books nowadays...,
By
This review is from: Everworld #11: Mystify The Magician (Paperback)
Don't worry about finding excellence in this book. Easily the best EverWorld book to date, most of the strings of chaos in the EverWorld series are tied in the conclusion of this book, but a thousand new ones are created. David, Christopher, April, and Jalil are closer than ever to finding out what's really going on. Things are actually getting better for the confused companions, especially Christopher, who has finally discovered genuine love (or his interpretation of it) for a half-elfin EverWorlder. Even as things are getting better for the companions, things are getting even better for Senna. The evil dreams of hers that no one else has taken seriously are starting to become reality. No one said it better than Keith, the real-worlder, when he shouted, "It's happening!"

The Best One So Far!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Everworld #11: Mystify The Magician (Paperback)
This is the most exciting one yet! Christopher and the others land in Erie, an Ireland full of druids, giants and other surprising things. Christopher even finds true love with a druid half elf. There is also a dark side to this all. They learn of Senna's plan for Everworld and are soon wageing war against her and her army of racist gun nuts. This book is also funny and makes you want to keep reading. I couldn't put it down and I read it in one eveing. Then I re-read again because it was so good. If there is one Everworld book you will buy, this shoud be it. The long two mounth wait for this book was well worth it!

What will they do now?,
By Clarissa (Harvey, LA Harvey) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Everworld #11: Mystify The Magician (Paperback)
After escaping from Neptune's underwater land of terror, Christopher and the gang find themselves in Eire. Unlike most of Everworld, Eire is ready for technology. They have the telegraph, electric lights, and streetcars. This also makes them a danger to Senna. Senna has been bringing people in from the real world to serve her and help her take over Everworld. Now the battle begins but not everyone will make it to the end of this book. Especially when one of their own betrays them in order to gain love. This book was definitely one of my favorite Everworld books, and in the end we got a surprise, which depending on how you look at it could be good or bad. This book made me want to get the last one even more. So if you like Everworld get this one now.

OMG! This was the best book. Christopher, my favorite character, falls in love in the land of Eire. Senna, who of course is the villain, has brought Neo-Nazis from the real world to Everworld. April and Jalil bring in technology. And General Davideus battles. Humorous bits in between. An all together great book. I won't tell the ending because that would spoil it, but let me tell ya, it's a shocker. I can't believe the series is almost over!! K.A. Applegate, if you read this, don't end the series. This is one of the only series that incorporates mythology properly and I love it.

Like a brick in the face... and I mean that in a good way.,

Oh, my. I just finished reading this book not more than 10 minutes ago. As a devoted follower of the series I own all the previous books and have read and reread them over and over. I was, of course, anticipating this book, but I was unprepared for the absolute intensity that it hit me with. So much hit the fan, so much was concluded and explained, so much action and emotion that I cursed myself for not being able to read it faster, and find out what happened next. You will scream in frustration. You will be left crying like a little baby, pleading for more; not so much because you want to know what happens next, but because you crave Katherine A. Applegate's written embrace to wrap yourself up in once again, now blindlly trusting her to satisfy.

Cool Book! David, Senna, Jalil, Christopher, and April have escaped the mermen and the evil Roman God Neptune in the city of Atlantis. They arrive at the island of Eire (Ireland). It's ancient filled with giants, leprechauns, and fairies. Here, Senna chooses to unleash her power and open a gateway between both worlds to bring in... followers. Now, Senna wants to rule all of Everworld and kill her friends. This is the best Everworld book so far!

Breath-taking!,

Everworld #11, Mystify the Magician, in my opinion, is definitely the best of the whole Everworld series. Senna gets what she wants-a whole army of punks worshiping her-and what she deserves in the end. Questions that have been around since book number 1 start getting answered, and the teens start to figure Senna's motives out as well. The ending truly shocked me, so this is definitely not a book that you would read the ending because it will spoil the whole book!

BEST EVERWORLD BOOK,

Like many people who have read this book-I say it is definitely the best Eveworld book K.A. Applegate has written. All the questions are answered and the characters start understanding what has been really going on and why Senna dragged them into it. With Christopher telling this one there was a ton of humor as we all know Christopher is like that. Christopher is actually more mature in this one and didn't make as many prejudice comments as usual. His character definitely has matured. What really got me was how they all pulled together in this one. Sure they ALWAYS pull together, but this time they actually meant it. Really great book read it.

Sincerely, this was the first book I've read where Christopher is the narrator (he's funny), and I loved it!!! The book left me thirsty for more of Everworld. Of course, I'll not give the story away, but I just want to warn that the ending will leave you in shock. I wish Applegate would continue this series.

This book was great. I am 13 and have read all of the other books. This was quiet possibly the best one in the series yet! You should deffinently read the other books before you read this one other wise you will be totaly clue less. But With Christopher telling his part of the story again it is funny and fasinating. The ending is deffinently a shocker! It will be extremely sad when the series ends but i cant wait for the next book!
